Of course not, that's Tink Krios.  The fool who can't fight.  He's not dead unless his brain functions have ceased unless they show me a medical report stating Thane's brain stopped functioning then anything is possible.  Tis what they told me when I decided that working in a morgue was a good idea.  I know, gross but believe it or not, it was very pleasant.  I answered the phone, did paperwork, and would at times clean up the rooms.  The only thing that made it pleasant was that I didn't have to deal with people.  People suck sometimes.  I'd rather go back to dealing with dead ones than the live ones.

BTW @Tash, I loved your story idea.  I was going to initially respond to it, and then I got caught up in other posts (on the same thread....).  I wish (hope??) they would be open minded to actually adding to the story with an option to keep him alive through the game.  I came at it from the "cheap/easy" angle.....figured if we throw everything (and the kitchen sink maybe?!?!?!) they might find something worth doing......throw us bone, bw!

Oh, lord... Should have seen the ridges coming...

I saw the poster thread, added my part in for that, saw that Keythe isn't doing anything for the EC (o, the wailing and gnashing of teeth!) and volunteered for the plushie journey.

So the EC thing... Does this mean he's just not going to be in that one thing, or they're not planning to do anything with him ever again? (Going Texas Chainsaw Massacre on the BioWare threads if he isn't).

Maybe they will just add some mails in game, and a Thane picture in Shepard cabin? That should be possible without too much problem isn't it ? Maybe they did paid mr Farley to no disclose anything to not make us too happy too fast ? Ok, before they didn't thought that Thane would have so much fans etc but now that they do know they will certainly try to fix something right ? right ? Maybe later after the extended cut and the already planned dlc's they will do this move to please those who romanced him? Because it is not all of us who are getting vocal, writall and watever all . Some of us are just too pissed to actually bother to come here. And some other have not the will to fight. Or are not good in english enought? (I'm not good too but I try still I cherish Thane that much ehehe).

Well, just because he's not going to be in the EC doesn't mean he'll never reprise his role as Thane.

In addition, I haven't seen his statement firsthand
(It was on Keythe's facebook methinks and since I don't have facebook...I can't check)

So true, I suppose he could be opting to not say anything, or he simply hasn't been asked yet, after all the EC isn't going to release until summer.

I'm not too worried yet that Keythe says he's not recording anything new for Thane. It seems that BioWare are focusing on the extended ending dlc for now. Sadly Thane is dead so it makes sense.

However, that doesn't mean they can't contact Keythe later once they start work on other DLC. If Keythe's not called back for that then I will be upset/angry. We just need to keep fighting for Thane to make sure BioWare know we love the character and want more of him. We can't let them "forget" Thane again.

It would make sense.  Just as it would make sense for them to add ending stuff on Earth for Thane in a DLC.  I did see his FB and chuckled at him doing stuff for an upcoming Nickelodeon show.  Fantastic, my kids live on that channel.  There is just so many times I can stomach iCarly though.  I think the only time I've paid attention to that show was when Courtenay Taylor (Jack) was on and it was accidental.  

Yes, all we can do is let them know that we want Thane and he won't be easily forgotten.

As Julia and Utaker said (and others that I am forgetting with my swiss cheese brain), I never expected him to be called in for the EC. As I understand it, it will most likely only include those that were present at the very end of the game so that would include Meer and Hale, and all the VA's for the me3 squaddies. Our Thane and other ME2 exsquaddies, even if alive, are probably not being called in for VA work. Could be wrong, but that is how I understood it.

Also, remember that Mr.Farley is a very busy man with plenty of other activities and work . His schedule maybe didn't allowed him to be available on a finger snap from them. That don't mean if we keep asking, when they will have nothing of already planned for dlc etc that they wouldn't do something about Thane.
It is possible then , when reading our arts, fan-fictions, paintings, drawings, traveling plushies and posters, etc, they will see how they failed to see the potential in matter of money making and try to accomodate something between our view and theirs.
And allow the mass effect2 Thane as we met him to get a chance of cure, delay or anything like this to stay himself in Mass effect3. He couls still die in fight with Brat Leng or on a DLC mission on Kahje 'saving the hanars and drell" one ;op
My Shepard received a mail in game saying to NEVER LOSE HOPE EVEN WHEN EVERYTHING SEEM LOST. It is what I do .

While I acknowledge that Keythe is busy...so is Raphael and he generally manages, or at least makes an effort, to interact with his fans. Hell, he even read the Horizon letter. Keythe cannot claim to do the same.

This is very true. Kaidan fans are very lucky.
He also got Ashely's VA to read her letter as well.

In Keythe's defense he does Voice Directing in addition to acting.

Then there is the subject of embargo...if his contract is NDA, there's not a lot he is allowed to say.
The LotSB letter is technically BW property, if he read it and recorded it without permission it wouldn't be good for his career.

I can't remember if Raphael as well as Kimberley (Ashley) had permission from BW when they recorded the Horizon letters?

Because I have a vague memory of Raphaels recording of the Horizon letter being taken down..

Yep, I have a copy of it. It was a gift for his fans and wasn't up long...but the fact that he did it was priceless. And he did it because he was asked by his fans. He didn't ignore it, which is sadly what Keythe does. I do accept the fact that he is busy, but a reply saying he can't do it would have been more acceptable that totally ignoring us.
