It really is telling that an offshoot movement can get official feedback but the original movement can't.
I'm tired of fanbases who got what they want and/or get promises from writers have "deal with it" attitudes to those fanbases of characters who are maligned, ignored, or butchered.
I'm tired of writers playing favorites with being official about it. I'd take it better if they were upfront about it.
If they're going to hook up to movements, they need to do it to all movements. Or stay back and talk generally.
All fanbases should be treated equally. Poor Jacob fans. No one liked him, so they butcher his character. Now they're off the board.
Due to this blatant favoritism, I don't think BW is a day one purchase from me again. Why risk me liking a character only to have them taken away?

I agree. I can't invest in any other series they offer knowing that they will only be playing to "favorites" (although I thought Thane was a favorite?). I really loved ME1 and 2 and thought they were going to be true to their word. For me, it's just not worth trusting them again just so I can get upset
I don't know what happened with Bioware's Facebook promotion for Thane's cure last year. There were articles about and everything. I thought it was very successful. I don't know wtf they're doing. It's Jacob and Samara too. I don't know what we did wrong :/

Oh that would be me and don't tell anyone that Tink is really short for Tinkerbell, it's a Krios family secret. They look at Thane and then at Tink and go. What exactly do you need? I'm a bit drugged at the moment so I'll need extra direction unless you point toward Thane's pants, I'll never lose my way there.

Yeah I said it.
We have already shown screenshots of Tali as a party member, so that wasn't the news. The news was that she may not have been made a party member, but fan demand for her after ME2 definitely swayed the Devs into making it happen.
And people say BioWare doesn't listen to the fans.

... Seems to be some misunderstanding here. You know I never said she was a permanent squadmate, right? Just that she was one at some point (or maybe some points) in ME3. right? And you shouldn't get all worked up about things you don't fully understand yet, right?
Right.
edit: can't stand his picture, so I took it out.
