I was actually looking into tickets two nights ago. One way brisbane to sydney via emirates was around 2000. A LOT cheaper than I thought it would be. I thought it was 5000 each way, not return. and that's a regular price too. I was very surprised. You'll... we'll just have to make sure we get the emergency exit window seats. More leg room. XD
I meant Brisbane to London. I was going to catch a train to... can't remember where but there's a little town on the east coast that has a ferry running to Arhurs in Denmark. I was going to take that. (I love sea travel! But then, I would be a ******-poor viking if I didn't. And I love it when it's a bit rough, too!

@EmeraldFern - Thanks for the review. I have a soft spot for Kolyat the size of a planet, in case you couldn't tell.
So many projects for Thane...I have a vauge idea of my own, inspired by a song called 'Hymn for the Missing'. I'd like to do a vid of Thane cutscenes, interspersed with comments from Thane lovers with that song in the background.
Heck, I could even include ALL the LI's that got shafted, and I'd like to given that we're all in the same boat.
Only problem being - I have no idea what I'm doing....Not the freakin faintest and my computer skill are minimal at best.

1.ME1first game I invested so many hours in in such a short time.
2.ME1 &ME2 First game to have all the achievements in,
3.ME2 first game to make me get an Xbox Live Account for the ME2 DLC which than undid all my perfect achievement scores in ME1 and ME2.
4.Oct. 2011 First game to make me get a Xbox Live Gold Membership for ME3 Galaxy at War MP. Sadly that didn't do a damn thing for the endings.
5.First of anything to have me yell and scream and create such a rage over the last installment ME3.
6.First time I had my virtual heart broken by Samara
7.First virtual cherry I popped with Liara in ME1.
8.ME3 first time I took up Fanfic since I was like a freshmen in High School.
OHH and about the Developers not thinking Thane was well liked or knowing he had a massive fan base BS, because on Xbox Live you can buy a Thane outfit for your avatar dude (as long it's a dude), and Thane is the only dude squad mate that they have an outfit for. So It's all BS.
Also someone at BW is too busy obsessing over Liara to the point they go out of their way to create plot armor for her and make her the most relevant character to any and everything they can. Prothean Expert, Info Trader, Shepard's dead body snatcher for Cerberus, Mandatory squad mate on Thessia, mandatory interjecting on Lessus if not in your party, apparently blathering to Wrex about Salarian STG Genophage and Female Krogan, getting all chummy with Hackett who forces us to find her at Mars right away. Mars where Liara finds the Crucible plans (a human place) and found by her.
Also apparently being nosy and discovering Jack's real name if Shep romanced Jack (what? and that's not creepy how?). Oh and apparently she's Shep's main emotional confidant in ME3, and just helps herself to waiting outside your cabin whenever your sleeping and wake up from a nightmare.
OH yes and if you take Liara on the run to the beam and don't have enough war assets and your 2 squad mates die (which in my first playthrough of ME3 I did and saw her dead body), she comes back to life and walks out of the Normandy even though I hardly talked with her in my game. In fact I talked with everyone else but her, Garrus, Vega, Javik EDI, Ashley, Tali. Who walked out with Joker and EDI, Liara. Not Garrus who I also took with me and saw his dead body next to hers. Liara comes back to life.
She's also got a sh!t load of resources as the Shadow Broker but it's totally fine to have her as a squad mate in a combat role as opposed to a War Asset where she'd be out of harms way.
Really it makes perfect sense to have someone like that as a squad mate but it's not OK to have someone like Thane, Samara, Jacob (who I thought was happy being my rogue sidekick from Cerberus at the end of ME2), Zaeed, or Kasumi as squad mates because well they could be used better off scene in Cameo's or at a hospital where they may die off scene in some BS way.
Really being forceful with Liara aren't they? IF they put half as much effort into the other LI's as they did into making Liara be everything and anything Well we may just not be in this mess. And people don't get why there is so much Liara hate?

I wonder if I could have a um, "custom made" model...
Aussie flights are always cheaper than the kiwi ones. I'll keep my eyes open and see what kind of deals are available. I just don't want to fly in the the US and go through their perverted customs system. So China, yes?
*sigh* The Dane in me has always wanted to go to Denmark. I don't know about the sea. Never really been on the open sea before. I'm from the middle of the US with the ocean 2-3 days away...

It may be better to fly to Cairns or something, then go via Vancouver or something? I don't know, I haven't finished my research yet.
Oh, I also just suggested a..... wait for it..... week-long CRUISE!!!!! The one I did was awesome, and the ships have EVERYTHING we need! Booze, chocolate, and sometimes, even <ridges> galore!
And gears... you are most welcome! So long as you don't mind hanging around with all us dirty old (or not so old) women.

I can definitely relate to that too. I'm a carer, and if it wasnt' for the funds from the sale of Nana's house, I would still be sleeping on a 16 yr old warpped, rotting, chipboard bed that my father made me when I was 10, simply because I wouldn't be able to afford even a second-hand one.

Or Canada. Fly straight to Vancouver.
Have the party outside of Bioware HQ
Oooh..... Canada-Alaska Cruise!
What... I love Cruising! It's OCEAN TRAVEL with all the comforts of a FIVE-STAR HOTEL!!!! All in the same 250 metres! With a LARGE number of bars, and a LOT of grog!

But honestly, I feel like there's maybe what...20 of us that actually post consistently. How is that going to help? I just wish people would post more. I know for a fact that Thane has more fans than just us.
First of all, Hi everyone ^^
@mnomaha, you are right, there is a lot of Thane fans, I'm sure. For me the real problem is the language, I'm spanish and sometimes i'ts difficult to jump into the conversation and express myself. I also know another people like me, who likes Thane but they don't post on BSN because of the language, or the time zone. However, I read Thane threads everyday, and I have already participated in some of your wonderful proyects, and I'm always spamming twitter (if you see someone called Serenade88 on twitter, retweeting the plushie photos like crazy, that's me
But I know our dear Thane needs more support, so since now I'm going to try posting regularly, if that helps our cause ^^. If we don't stop fighting, someone will listen at some point... I hope :/

All posts are welcome. Most of us are really good at trying to understand what you are trying to say, even if the words aren't always right. I certainly don't mind at all. I'm a native English speaker and I don't always say what I meant to.

And also, Spanish is easy because 1) I'm from the US and 2) my daughter is half Mexican. So, at one point, I got a serious crash course in Spanish.
