Don't sweat it, Tash.  As JECW said, they came in to a Thane thread, and started saying these things.  We have never gone in to one of their threads and started making a raucous.   Everyone is on edge, and I think it might be time to just stop posting in the Poster thread (and this is no slight on Squeegee; she did awesome).  If they want to keep posting there to say that we are.....I don't know.....rude or obnoxious, or whatever other complaint they have, so be it.  Let them.  At this point, she has the material from us she needs (except maybe a few people who are still planning to give her "Thane fix" ideas), and we do still have the Poster topic in the Thane Fanbook Group.  If she needs anything from us, we can address such things in that group instead. 

In other words......let that thread go......

I never thought of her drunken talk as anything but sexual innuendos.  But then again, I'm a perv.  I like how my Shep manages to end up passed out on the floor in front of Thane.  He must think she's a real gem.  Omega, Darkstar, I wonder if he knows how many times she hits the bar in Kasumi's room.

Ummm... yeah, so I just mixed that Neck Snap. I suppose it is good if one likes the strong taste of coconut rum because it overpowers the rest of it. I happen to love rum so it is not an issue for me but if anyone here isn't fond of it then I would suggest really diluting it with the pineapple juice. The type of coconut rum will make a difference. Personally, I prefer Captain Morgan's Parrot Bay Coconut Rum. Admiral Nelson's will leave a strong taste in your mouth. I don't know about Bacardi's as I really don't care for Bacardi Rum to begin with. The cheap stuff (you know the stuff on the bottom shelf) I would guess would be closer to tasting like Admiral Nelson. Oh yeah and if one chooses to go for the Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, check the bottle, there is the regular stuff and then there is the 90 proof.

Regardless, I like it.

Hmmm....sounds interesting @utaker.  Thanks for being the guinea pig...HA! I actually love rum, but I generally don't buy coconut rum.  Currently have a bottle of Cruzan Dark. Wonder if I could just add coconut water and put a bit of fresh coconut in it instead.  It's funny, I live near Distillery Row, but the nearest liquor store is actually a bit out of the way <grumble, grumble....stupid state run liquor stores....grumble>.

Never done mead, just beer and cider.  Mostly cider because I happen to live in area known for it's abundance of apple orchards.  Gotta do something with all those dang apples...well, I probably could do nothing but I have an insane need to go out in the middle of the night and raid the orchard trees.  Free.  Apple...pies, jelly, juice, cider, crisp, butter, sauce, candied, caramel....people in this house roll their eyes when they realize I went out "shopping" the night before.  They shouldn't complain because of my pilfering, they get a whole year's supply of cinnamon apple jelly and they happen to love it. Same with the applesauce, that is a nightmare to do.  I don't love the process of canning it but hey, it keeps me busy.

Malibu rum is my favourite flavoured variety. Well, it was when I actually used to drink. Now I'm just boring.

I think I'll be fine as long as I stay off that thread.

Try it with Malibu utaker...it has a more mellow flavour. Or it did. Dammit, now I just feel old.
