So fellow Siha's I've found a survey for you (Regarding the Endings) :
https://docs.google....KWlAzSHc6MQ
I took the survey! The most I really expect from the EC Thane-wise is perhaps a mention of what happened to Kolyat (if he's alive, where is he, is he okay, etc) and maybe a mention of what happened to Thane's body. Was it taken back to Kahje?
Hopefully, there will be DLC later in which we are given the chance to cure Thane/extend his life so that he can make it to the end of the game alive - like all other love interests can. That's what I really want.

I really don't expect a whole lot at this point, especially for the EC. It would be nice, but uh, bw hasn't exactly been real nice lately.
I know I have said this before, but I really never figured they would do anything for Thane in the EC. Even though I and others, did come up with ideas to give Thane an option, that could have been included with the EC (and something like that would have been awesome....would have loved that), I didn't really expect they would do something like that. The EC is just their way of dealing with the fans' problems with the endings. Will it even achieve that? Who knows. Means little to me until I can have a way to save/extend Thanes life.

About the survey, the questions accuracy would encourage me to think they have perfectly gathered wich point annoyed us. The persistence to avoid Thane point out for me that there is a problem much deeper than just a forgotten character. It would be a very nice trick of luck if suddenly one among the decisional team suddenly realised that Thane is awesome and that it need ot be fixed.
The main reason is, I suppose, since most of the dev team are male they are not interested in male romance. They support Garrus since he is a super male ideal: tall strong clever and fast, with a wit in tongue, an ideal leader, someone to relate in or a goal to tend to.
And since i'm not a male interested in males, I can not really find what should be attractive for man in a male love interest. Maybe it is why they've chosen Cortez as love interest, his soft and emotional side above courage and pilot skills. Thought, Thane IS an emotional and caring person behind is calm and coolness, and skillfulness.
And sexyness...Ahem...where were I...
And unfortunately for us Thanemancers, the few girls in their team is obviously prefering Garrus or Kaïdan...Or maybe they are subject of ophidiophoby...
As a normal human I keep hopes even when everything seem lost.
And it is why I hope that, maybe, they actually wish to do something extra for Thane but let us be realist: if they hurried the commercial release of ME3, it was cause they needed money income. Entitled fans like us who waited for 2 years (imagine those awaiting Diablo 3 for 10 years) helped them to achieve their goal I suppose, but I'm not sure the bosses would be ok to use this money for a lot of fixes, just to silence us.
/personal life incoming:
Now, my father was a small artisant, a crafter...I wouldn't compare a single man company with a worldwide one, but he told me once that when you do a business you have customers and it need around 5 years if you work strong and are lucky, to "sit" a reputation. To start to actually make money and live from it only. But it need only 1 unsatisfied customer to ruin this reputation for ever. You can work harder, do ads, make specials like two for the price of one etc...the mouth to hear phone is working faster than a mass effect relay bounce...And 1 angry customer = a family (wich can be two members of fourteen). Each of them have friends etc...See where I go. My point is that small or big company, you need to make everyone happy even if it is hard or not easy. It seem it is what they have choosen to do...But even as I write all this I doubt them.
It hurt me cause I used to confide in them. Damn it I was a Bioware fan before to be a Thane fan.
I have not registered all my games on this site but I have ALL their games!
I have bought this game BEFORE it was available, just because I had faith in them.
because I was SURE that this game would be great like the others.
I certainly put them on a pedestal too high. What can I say love is blind.
Then I had...this unexpected ending...like if they added another game scenes in this one...and as it was not possible to be more disapointed they killed Thane. All the lung greffe, the lung medigel, the technologic prowess (used for bringing back shepard back) and every bit of "space magic" mentionned in the messages in game before meant nothing: first they were just words to keep the players to wait for the third game.
And ... nothing, since they said had forgotten Thane Krios. Like the guys who worked on Mass effect3 had never heard of the game, never watched a site, a forum or a blog or whatever. they never once typed Thane Krios on a search site...Not even on the wiki for Mass effect3...bah...
My sadness get the better of me again sorry. I feel actually silly to be put in this state of mind because of a game. Even if I have other problems in life, like everyone, family and pets to take care of, friends that need help etc... all time what ever I do, I have Thane krios picture in some corner of my mind and I wonder why, how possible...how Bioware could possibly do this.
I feel...baffled.
Like when your friend surprise you in doing something stupid and he/she don't want to listen to you.
You can just look and be ready to have his/her back when he/she will be done with the sillyness. But it still frustrating.
Well I wrote a lot, and I have not took a coffee cup yet...that I can fix not like Thane's death (for the moment)...Sorry for the wall of text but I still hope that maybe in all our writing someone bored will took a look there and be moved by some word in the lot lol.
"edited to put some air in the text to make it less compact lol . I saw after publishing it were a big wall of text indeed ;p i'm a little bit embarassed now lol but will keep it as it is

Grab us by our hair, pull us up, put us over his knees and spank us! Or he can be a devious drell, act like he is getting ready for bed, take his pants off and then drop them on the floor where we can see them. I think all our good sense would fall apart and we'd definitely be caught. If we did manage to keep quiet, I'm sure we'd be found out eventually. I'm sure he'd want to know why we ate his pants.

Is there supposed to be a bulge there in Thane's pants? Because I don't see one, but than again I really didn't look to close.
However I recently had a pal here on BSN, unlock some stuff on my ME3 360 saves, (Indra, Valkyrie, Raider, Collector Rifle) and few outfits one of them was the Shepard in his undies. I guess I never paid to much attention to it, until I saw it on MY Shepard, but I was like WTF? Where the hell is my virtual penis? BW What the hell have you done, You give all FemSheps, bigger boobs and butts, and you can't give my Shep a virtual penis?
I mean What the hell, if I wore undies that tight my bulge would be a bulge, not some Ken Doll love bump. Why the hell don't my Shep have a virtual penis BW?
Sorry how did that Pandora's Box get opened in this Thane thread again?

Hon, they may have given the femsheps bigger boobs and asses, but the proportions are WAY off there as well. Unless she had a lot of work done while she was incarcerated, and I doubt that would happen.
At least she doesn't still look like she just gave birth though. That's a plus.
And yes, there is a bulge, and yes, I WAS looking..... very closely!

It's nothing fancy, but once I get the poster back from printing, I will be posting pictures there. woohoo.
Submit an idea/concept as well. I am giving everyone the chance to show how logical we are in our thinking... so go for it. I don't understand how anyone can shut down the chance too. Anywhos... squee needs to go take her nap. Coz I'm getting really cranky right now. lol.
Sorry if I sound tired and worn out... coz that's how I feel right now. Just join if ya care and save me the energy of having to track yourself down later after it's all sent out to Bioware.

Exhibit A....He's even pointing it out...

There are other exhibits but I'm too lazy to go sifting through them all, I suppose it would be easier to put all my Thane crotch shots in one folder. It would be massive!!!

there used to be an excellent "Thane retcon diagram" here. Maybe we should include it along the poster? Or was it sent in the book? I really thought it was nice way for Thane to survive or die depending on your actions in previous games.

RShara made up the fantastic diagram I believe you are referring to. And yes, it was (I think) included with the Thane FanBook. So wish that was how they had done things........<raspberry>

Yeah I will put it in the book, but Squee perhaps ask R'Shara for it again, I think it would be great if you send it along with the poster at all! I will put it in R'Shara section - so it is "somewhere" in the middle of a more than 300 pages book, I think it could not be bad if they receive it 2 times

I assume Geralt is your DudeShep. I was rather peeved when I discoved what BW with my Sheps package (or lack of). It's something dudes take offense to a reduced package size. I mean if FemShep gets bigger boobs and and new @ss than why can't Shep's undies have a huge bulge? Hell EDI got a ******.
Anyway
@yamainu1984 did you get my PM? Just wanted to check given I saw your post it made me wonder.
Ohh and Thane, he has the best intro of any ME squad mate EVER. Popping out of the vents and killing all the Eclipse and than Nassana. BEST INTRO EVER! I don't think any squad mates intro even comes close to being as bad@ss cool as Thane's was.
