Well...yes. I haven't found one that...how do I put this...could do a better job than I can do myself. Rather like that old saying...If you want it done right, do it yourself...

Hmmmmm, true.

But I bet Thane could Posted Image

(And Fenris, and Valen....)

You know what'd be a freakin' fabulos idea, since Thane's original writer left? Get David Gaider to write him for ME3.

Hmmm, yes I do believe you're correct. Thane could indeed take care of things correctly. ....and Fenris and Zevran and Valendar....elves and aliens...I wonder, does that say something about the males of our species? LOL

*whispers* not too fond of Gaider either.

And I bet he'd never let BW kill off one of his characters.

But look at what he let them do to Zevran's face. And he (pretty sure it was him) called us idiots for not liking it.

From what I have heard, bioware generally don't kill off LI's. So they made this exception just for us Thanemancers. Should we be...thankful?

No we shouldn't be grateful that bioware was crazy enough to make Thane the example to kill of an LI.

I didn't know there was a limit on posts.

Valen.....*drools* Playing HotU is one of my retreats from the Thane-less horror of ME3.

HAHA Tasha, it's good to know my rants are justified.

And well I'm at it another thing in that dumb Forbes thing, did he say he enjoyed Traynor more than Steve? Did he really enjoy Samantha? I know I enjoyed her, but she felt like she was only half way finished in the game. I knew next to nothing about her, and she added nothing. They took Kelly away and added this half finished on half thought out character, whom was wasted potential.

Steve on the other hand, maybe it was the fact he'd lost his husband, but I enjoyed him very much. His banter with Vega was great, and Steve was a great addition to the crew. Hell I enjoyed Steve more than most the other crew members in ME3.

Than again most my favorite characters have some sort of personal loss, or guilt trip, or just have a massive weight on their shoulders. Hell Bailey was so great and enjoyable in ME2 just because he kept hinting at screwing up raising his kids. I really wanted to know more and kept trying to use different dialogue options to see if I could get Bailey to just give me a bit more of his story.

Than there was Adams yeah when I came across him the first time in ME3 on MY Ship I was like "Who the hell is this dude I don't remember him" and somehow my Shep acted all buddy buddy and remembered this dude I didn't. THE ONE PERSON I didn't remember and he's the only person ya don't get a dialogue option of "who the hell are you" or "I don't remember you". I had to Google him and it wasn't until I saw a picture of what he looked like in ME1 that I figured out who the numbskull was. I was like ohh I thought that dipstick died in the Collector Attack on the SR-1, along with Presley and the Alliance Requisition Officer. I dang sure didn't even remember Adams from ME1 and in ME3 he LOOKED nothing like he did in ME1.

In fact don't Jacob say something in ME2 about "A few of the crew members from the lower decks didn't make it out alive" See so I guess I figured that the D-bag Adams died along with Presley, and Alliance Requisition Officer.

It's good to be back,

Oh and than there was someone who mentioned something about people not liking or romancing Thane because he had too much baggage.

I've never heard that one (then again I'm learning so much from hanging out with you gals) but I'm not shocked that people say it. In fact I've heard people b!tch about similar things about Samara, "oh well she wants to die" "she killed her daughter, what a cold hearted b!tch" "She had a family once it didn't work out, she don't want any part of falling in love again, she just wants to die" "BW should have never even created Samara or Morinth they should have just made Liara a squad mate in ME2 instead"

That last part about not creating Samara or Morinth, and just keeping Liara has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I never heard that one before. I also didn't know people said such thngs about Samara. Clearly those statements were made by people who don't really know her character. It's the same thing with Thane. It's alwasy people who think they know a character better than you do, and feel the need to tell you so.

I did hear the one about picking Morinth over Samara though. I've heard about her being a cold person, and that she probably lied about her daughters being Ardat Yakshi.

I think he had a problem becasue Steve lost his husband recently so I guess he felt like Shepard was taking advantage of him. I also liked his character. I thought he was very sweet.
Traynor was ok, but I didn't really find her that interesting.

I thought I was the only one. I still don't remember Adams. Was he even in ME1?

There's not a limit on posts, just how quickly you can post them. Like a cooldown period between posts.

I don't really like Traynor. My biggest problem is this - I invite you up to my cabin to play chess, I've been civil to you, because my Shep rolls that way, you enthuse over the shower, so I offer it to you - just because I don't have an LI (or suddenly lost him into some sort of character black hole) DOES NOT MEAN I WANT TO GET IT ON!

Am I missing some sort of euphinism here? I lent you my shower, woman, that's it. You don't even mention that you swing that way! Or ask my Shep if she does!

Back off limey, I'd sooner do the Turian or the Quarian. (Yah, my Shep's a xenophile, probs?)

If you play nwn2 you are going to love Mask of the Betrayer expansion. One word. Gann! That was romance done right.

My shep is me and I am pretty innocent with stuff. I wanted to let Traynor use the shower because it would be a nice thing to do. Then shep gives this creepy "oh it's an option" line. Steve is great you can actually be a real friend to him.
