I recently got ME2 for the PC as I was fed up trying to take pictures of my tv with a camera... turns out I am terrible at PC gaming!  I couldn't even figure out how to walk/turn and I must have pressed some weird combination of buttons that made my laptop go crazy.  Took me ages to kill the YMIR Mech on the first mission.  And then got stuck because I can't talk to characters/pick up items/open doors.  They need to update their minimum specs for that game!  

That is my biggest fear with PC gaming (besides not having a good enough system....husband is planning on buying me a new desktop for b-day).  I used to play PC games back in the early/mid 90's.  Mostly adventure games like Gabriel Knight, Phantasmagoria, and Zork Nemesis.  But the controls for those games were pretty much the directional keys, space bar and enter....HA!

@JECW - I actually didn't mind the flirting with Vega (I fully admit to being naturally flirty...<lopsided grin>), BUT the only import into me3 I did, was my very pragmatic Cate Shepard. As soon as she heard Vega's flirts, she gave him the stink eye.....however, she has always been paragon to her crew, so this made it difficult. *grumble*

I flirted with him also, but only with my Garrus romance. Can you stop his flirting at all?

Phantasmagoria <3 I loved it!!! Loved Planescape and Baldur's Gate too, but I can't remember when they were released xD I really was a console player the former days - Resident Evil was only avaible at PS and since this Game Series was my long Time Number one game - hell I really LOVE(D) IT (Leon *cough*) - but since my boyfriend offered me the advantages of PC gaming, yeah here we go But I still have a PS3 and XBox at home - PS for all the Resident Evil love, since this game is a PS only one for me, and yeah that XBox... It is... looking noce with this ME skinned thing? xD

Haha! I had assumed that the directional keys were what you would use to move... but apparently that's too simple! I just couldn't get the hang of the WASD keys plus all the others! (I had to actually look at my keyboard I was that confused, meanwhile I'm getting shot at in game). Was even harder because I don't have a mouse (I think) but I'm going to try again once I have a mouse get one cos I really want some decent screenshots to use as references.

@mnomaha it is good to know that it's not just me!

@yamainu...I love Resident Evil...Love it!!! I have most of the games up to RE4. Mmmm Leon. Man he's hot. Did you see the movie with him?

@Beanie...LOL having a mouse will definitely make a difference. That's one of the reasons I don't own a laptop. Although if I did, it would be set up next to my pc so I could chat while gaming. Some games these days just don't like you to alt-tab.

@yamainu - I loved those games. The first one was especially funny. The giant "pendulum of death" was hillarious. My husband and I would make our well-hung duddley-dooright get decapitated a few times (even though it caused "game over") just for the lulz. HA! I am getting my copies of DAO UE and DA2 for the PC tomorrow. Finally broke down......I wanna play with the DAO mods!! I sooo am going to be bugging you fine people for mod suggestions and possibly a bit of help.

I can't remember, was the original Resident Evil in first person or third??

i'm normally a console gamer from childhood on. started with spyro and grand tourismo xD fun to play, i'm mostly better in car races than the guys and they're always suprised^^
but then i found dragon age quite cheap for pc and i always wanted to modded. so i rought it together with awakening and 2^^
and dragon age worked quite well with keys...
than me2 i have for ps3 (and i'm a LOT better there. burning and all these things really hits, no stupid doors, who don't want to open, the suqaddi really attackts the enemy i want them to do xD yeah, my lappy is not the best for this theory xD)
but then i decided to play me1 on pc, just to know the whole story not just out of codex and so on. and what should i say?
i was HORRIBLE bad xD eally, i can play on hard through me2 on console with less probs (expect the shutters on garrus RM and the collector ffs) but i was not able to play me1 on pc on easy xD that really cut down my self confident
i mean, makro is always difficult, but i guess, no one was worse then me...poor garrus, poor wrex..the get sick i guess...
so i don't get through it. handling was quite hard, really was...then i started again, changed classes and tried my best. and well, i did it huureeii. so i imported my shep directly and so and on and stucked to pc for this serie, because i wanted my full shepard and not the renegade variance from ps3 (because i brought the game used and did not get the genesis comic and so bioware always made me1 plot like: well, renegade whole way, and liara as li... <.< and i so on pc: what? kaidan is running behind you in prologue, when you romanced him? ok...well...so i had li...ara in my games before on ps3...well, good that i choosed thane )

I loved Resident Evil too. I loved 4. Didn't play 5, but will play the new one.
I own the movie with Leon in it. I have to find that movie.
I think it may have gotten lost when I moved.

They need to find a way to convert ME3 xbox saves to PC, they can for ME2. This way I could pull a save after Rannoch. Not like I'd have much tweaking to do, the faces are the same, my choices have been the same. Or how about just a setting to turn off auto kill. That would be better, in that instance. CMF's normally make me laugh, cuz the way Shepard lays there on the screen. But after 3 hours of seeing the same one, I think I've had enough.

Yeah!!! This is sooooooooo funny at all xD This Pendulum was just great at all xD We are Playing Life roleplay too and have a Planescape session in there - I LOVE IT! This is such an crazy world at all xD
Yeah if you have questions ask along I have loooot of mods in DAO - the only thing I can't help you with is the DAO official Mod thing whatever which Bioware released. This sh**** thing was never running for me -.- ARGH!

@mnomaha: Yeah!!! Great that you loved it too!!! Yeah that movie.... In fact I was one of these crazy people who importet it from Japan ^^ Leon cg is love! But I really love them all. I have all games, all books all movies - yeah First time I pleyed it I was about 13 or 14 and I was that afraid xD But my best freind and me couldn't stop from the first moment xD

@mnomaha - haha, I think I'm just to lazy to have a proper PC, I like just flopping down on the sofa with my laptop rather than sitting at a desk (that and I can travel with a laptop). Same goes for console gaming, though apparently that's not much of a choice, more of a requirement if I actually want to get anywhere with the game! =p

I know I want to get the "skip the fade" mod, and I think there is an "insta-kill" mod. Mostly I want these so I can run through as many different kind of play throughs as possible.....quickly. On the xbox, since we don't have "skip this, insta-kill that", (and I have a tiny bit of OCD when it comes to completion if I don't have an easy out), I end up doing nearly everything. There are only a handful of side quests that I skip now. So, as you can imagine, it takes forever to get through one play through. I have to admit, I'm really looking forward to this.......dirty mods, mmmmmmmm.

Well, there's the nude mods and all kinds of sexy mods for all the characters. I stick with Zevran, so there's a couple different mods there. I'm using ZRS, Zevran romance scenes, or I will be this weekend. This one has some different scenes than the other. I think there is a lake scene that looked really enticing. There's one where you get Zevran very soon in the game and another where you actually get the ring when you make him confess his feelings (the second time he offers it). There are also mods for Alistair, but nah, I'm an elf most of the time, so he doesn't do it for me.

Zevran edges out Ali a bit for me, but I do still "do" Alistair as well.  I enjoy making him flustered.  But NO ONE can touch Zev on banter (hmmmm....Shale comes close).  I get obnoxious with the bridge to the Proving Grounds in Orzammar, trying to get all the banter I can.  Drives Rog up the wall.....HA!

I am a huge elf fan, and I too prefer playing elves.  The female city elf origin is by far my favorite, and she works well as a rogue role playing wise.  I prefer to play DW rogues (really don't like playing mages in DAO....*poke, poke*....yawn). 

Terribly excited about the ZRS.....would love to know your thoughts on it this weekend.

Well, not to trivialize things, but I feel about the same way I did when I first saw the Thane romance/death in ME3. A numb sort of disbelief. Still can't really believe it happened.

I got past that darn Rannoch Reaper...well, sort of.  I hunted until I found the plot and quest ID's to get me past it.  Victory at any cost!  I just got the troll message from Leng.  I will remember that when I see him again.  Play him on Insanity and he likes to taunt up a storm on Thessia.  "Your friend Thane, died like a coward." Jackhole...then moments later he followed it with, "You'll be joining him soon."  Why thanks, Kai but it won't be you who sends me across the sea...azz hat.
