I am also still looking for people to submit personal stories, which you can find at the topic in the group. Everyday I don't receive one, I will punch a kitten. Because seriously, I am getting a little tired of having to chase after people. This is your opportunity to get your story shared. Just don't sit there on your hands thinking I can do it for you. That isn't right, I am doing it for you guys. All it is for me is more work. This is a one in a lifetime chance. Nobody before me has address this issue and the moment to act on it is now. If I can't show the folks at BioWare that this is an issue, then I should just not bother anymore. Help yourselves, get involved and let me focus on doing the work. If I show up tomorrow night and I see nothing... I'm going to be mad. 

Also too, if you don't check up on the group here and there... then start. I don't want to have to keep running back into the threads to tell people to do what they should be already be doing. I did the work behind it, all you got to do is click a link.

I am more than likely will have to send in the poster with everything else by the end of May. So time is ticking.

I just finally wrote mine and it hurt.  It hurt a lot. It was painful.  Now to go off and submit some pics of my Shepard.  Oh lord writing that hurt.  I think I need some ridges....

He just got stabbed!  Look at Shepard and Company!  They aren't even looking!  WTF!!!


Now, Thane's body just disappeared?


It reappers on the other side of the room and no one is paying attention....


Look even now he is firing his weapon to help Shepard...just why did she never fire hers to help him?


And...left alone to bleed....You know Shepard, you deserve whatever happens to you after this....

I have an insane need to punish myself. I was looking for something else anything to prove that maybe just maybe Shepard tried to help. Oh she did.....aim her weapon at one point..too bad it was at Thane's back. Doh!



Thane should be walking around with a sign that says, "I'm surrounded by idiots."

Don't be mad - you see with flycam even things what we as players should not see - and that is sometimes only for a special camera setting a strange behaviour of other characters (just like Shepard turning her back on Thane), disappearing bodies and so on.

Doesn't help of course that this fight is so unnecessary and stupid as it can get. There were so many opportunities to kill Leng or to make him at least unable to fight back. Hard to believe that Shepard is a N7... same as for the scene with Conrad - seriously? Shepard cannot save herself or disable that Cerberus guy before he can shoot? All those stupid scenes only to add more drama - where the genophage arc shows us how you can really create dramatic story and scenes with a great written plot and without cheap tricks.

Those screenshots show how ridiculous that fight scene really was. How anyone can say that was epic is beyond me. They aren't even looking. Shepard and everyone else are facing the wall while he's fighting Kai Leng. I wonder if Shepard just walked right over him to chase after Leng.

I have another Leng fight ridiculous shot but I'll keep it out since it's painful to see but at the very moment Leng stabs Thane, Thane gets a shot off on Leng...right to his head. His head! Talk about some plot armor and no, he was not feet away. He was close enough to breach Leng's almighty shields. He should have been dead.

hey guys^^ just want to say that I'm working on a scientific essay for squeegees project which i would like to send along to bioware with the poster. As i mentioned few times before I'm a biology student and always interested in medicine and gentic so i've spent some time of doing research, thinking about his situation and the possibilities of medicine and i came to the conclusion that even with "just" kolyat Thane could have been saved quiet easy even with kepral and i try to explain it in a letter.
it is nearly finished and I'm gonna post it within her group. So you can read it and may also input your own ideas ^^

When I played through this scene I just wanted to flip tables over how angry it made me. Even just seeing the screencaps makes me furious. It made me hate Shepard due to her total disregard of someone she loves. He was stabbed right in front of her and she didn't care one bit. She never even lifted a finger to help him.

It kills me that Thane literally had to drag himself off the ground to stumble after Shepard. Where were the squadmates? Why didn't they help him? Thane had been stabbed yet he gets to where Shepard is and helps her shoot at Leng before they get there.

Shepard doesn't really even acknowledge Thane until he can no longer hold himself up and slumps down the wall. Even then, the most she musters: Is it bad?

What in the hell is wrong with her?! Then she just proceeds to ignore him for the rest of the scene and leaves without a backward glance. The shot of Thane all alone, bleeding out against the wall is so gut-wrenching. :crying:Shepard didn't even have the decency to leave someone with him. There is just so much wrong with this scene and Thane's entire cameo is just.... badly done. He should have meant more.

I dare someone to tell us that we should be happy at the way Thane died AFTER seeing pics like that. Go right ahead, I dare someone to step into that shark infested pool. Makes me wonder if someone played the same game we did. Who can be happy knowing you just left the man you love...not loved, just sitting there like that. Out of all the douchebaggery things my Sheps have ever pulled, leaving him there like that is by far the worst she has ever done. For once, it wasn't a choice I made for Shep. All of my Shep's deserved the ending they got. They also don't deserve to be in his arms across the sea either but I imagine Thane is more forgiving than I will ever be.

My intention was not rub salt into wounds, as they are my wounds as well but if those pics inspired just ONE person to start writing to BioWare or to even let BioWare know by saying, "I support an option for Thane" then I consider it worth the tears shed having to look at those pictures. For Thane, I would run through Hell in a gasoline g-string.

I am having a hard time understanding the line of thinking of some people. I saw some of the tweets posted today and I got to say, it is bull***t. I don't give two red cents about how "realistic" it may be to lose someone, or that "we don't always get to choose how people live/die/wuteva" (yes, I'm paraphrasing). Horse***t! A game of choices (what, do my LI choices not matter, while others do? Did I pay less money for my CE copy?) This is a game that we chose to romance a "romanceable character" (paramour cheevo/love scenes the whole sha-bang! Yes; they wrote him that way in ME2!). One specifically designed to appeal to women. A choice that damn well should have been honored! Every single player out there that romanced a LI in ME/ME2, and had any connection, great RPing moments with, did NOT go in to this third game believing for one second that there choice wouldn't matter.

****** poor excuses for the reason he needed to die. The majority of us have expressed our thoughts on this repeatedly, on this thread and the Thane thread. Yup! Will never believe differently that it didn't need to happen, but that is simply my opinion. No one has to agree with it. HOWEVER, Thanemancers most CERTAINLY deserved to have OUR choice HONORED!!! And Thane's inclusion in me3 certainly wasn't. It doesn't matter what some gasbag, sword-weilding, waste of pixels says......I didn't give one rip about him! So anything that cereal ninja might spout means diddly-squat! It is quite significant that Thane can be missed/skipped, already dead, and the scene still plays out......dead Kirahee or dead councilor. That knife lovin' hack will serenade us with a different song.....mention Kirahee, the Councilor, and possibly even Miranda (if allowed to die). It is so very shameful that we are expected to feel, what, glad that a waste of space like KL mentions him (IF he was even around to do the fight)?!?!?! No, no, no.....meaningful is being mentioned by friends/loved ones. Even game mechanics are important; a listing in the Codex, a significant listing in the Guidebook, an achievement for CHOOSING to stay with our LI of CHOICE!

We may never (probably won't) see a single change to the disaster that was Thane's romance or even his less than realized cameo overall in me3, but I'm damn sick and tired of hearing that we shouldn't feel the way we feel....again, horse***t! If you like how his character was handled fine....move the hell along. You have exactly (apparently) what you wanted. And what is done is done. If we want to try for more content with Thane, or even better, an OPTION for his life to extend to the end of the game, then leave us to it. It will not change a damn thing in your game. And the likelyhood of this happening is very slim to begin with (and that might be generous). People who like what was done to Thane, will not change the minds of those that don't. A better use of your time would be to focus on aspects of the game (or games/DLC's to come) that you would like to expand on, improve, add to, whatever.......But making others feel bad or frustrated is just ridiculous!

BAH!....ugh.....I soooooo need to go to bed. *THUNK!* (sorry if this rant is hard to follow....hehe.....I will probably regret posting this tomorrow.)
