Oh MY GOD Coldwetnose I understand it ALL. My god, I lost my mind and went insane when someone said Samara don't count as a LI. Then after I posted a huge long rant disappeared for a few hours I came back, and some jack@ss had some stupid tough sh!t get over it comment.

At least the person who's naive and uninformed post that fueled my rage seemed to understand everything I said and where my rage was coming from. At least he/she didn't take it personal.

Sorry I can't go down that road again, I shall instead direct all your attention to the tweet by some BW lady who claimed that Jacob cheating on FemShep was part of his character he switches sides all the time, first the Alliance, Cerberus, Shepard, and so it's really who he is.

In which I tweeted back to said lady "So you mean to tell me that Joker Gabby Ken Chukwas, Shepard switch sides too. Yet Shep don't cheat on Liara."

I understand all the rage and I wish people would just move along. If you are not here to support us, then by all means feel free to just leave us be. We are not hurting anyone. I was very ticked off by someone telling us how we should feel. Get over it is another one that gets my blood boiling. First of all, go get bent. Seriously. Do I tell you how to feel? No, I do not. Second of all, saying crap to me like 'get over it' is only going to remind me on how I feel so chances of me getting over it just decreased.  There was a level of expectation for each of us and it all failed.

A summary all these things either occurred in the game or was stated in an interview or alluded too...
Thane...I'm NOT the one who put the Hanar working on a cure, a lung transplant, or a breathing device in the game. So stop with "what did you expect?"
Samara: I'm NOT the one who said her hints at a romance would be touched on and/or concluded.
Jacob: I'm NOT the one who said, "I love you" and then got someone else pregnant. So cut the "switching sides" argument, it's insulting to FemShep's and Jacobmancers.
Tali...I'm NOT the one who had her remove her mask on Rannoch and then get handed a lazy arsed photo from Google. I'm also NOT the one who hinted that you'd see her face in something more than a photo.
Liara: I'm NOT the one who had Shepard and Liara talking about blue babies and watch as Shepard and Liara are separated at the end.

These things were NOT things we pulled from thin air. Each of us were given hope by BioWare themselves, things they said, things they put in the previous games and it was not there. They FAILED. So again, why should any of us get over it? We were betrayed and lied too. We all paid money for an epic game, an end to Shepard's story and what we got was slapped in the face and ridiculed for being upset. Don't tell us to get over it when you are whining about the ending.

It's really beginning to get to me, all this BS.

I can't stand lying, omission, yes, toning it down, yes. I try my hardest not to lie to people, because I can't stand it being done to me.

But the out-right LIES we are being offered and expected to swallow...Are these people game devolopers or frigging politicians?

Another lie, the :"Rachni will have a big effect on the finale battle in ME3, and if the player saved the queen in ME1 or let her die that choice will have a huge impact on the events that do or don't transpire in ME3"

Another lie "Certain parts of the ME3 story may not be accessible to some [layers based off the choices they made in the the other 2 games. Killing off character(s) can result in certain areas being locked out. It's all part of the mass effect the players choices will have in ME3"

Lies, and the one thing that gets me more p!ssed off than anything else is those fans with Liara user pics, and Liara banners that walk around here telling everyone else things like "just shut up" or "That's what you get for not having Liara as your LI. You should have picked her she's the best" and then they turn around a whine and scream about not getting the little blue children,

God those people just irk me the most. On a much more lighter and happier note I finally unlocked all the colors/patterns for my ME3 MP Drell Adept, and I only have to unlock the pattern, lights, and skin tone on my Drell Vanguard.

And it's kinda depressing.....All the effort people are putting in, Squee and Myth and everyone in the Save Thane campaigns.....Hell, everyone who wants a little more for the ME2 Li's....And we're getting no feedback......Nothing.

Just give us something.....''We're listening'' ''We're listening and we're going to do something about it''. Hell, even tell us if you never ever intend to do anything, then at least we wouldn't be stuck in this up-and-down, between hope and despair limbo.

I am having a hard time understanding the line of thinking of some people. I saw some of the tweets posted today and I got to say, it is bull***t. I don't give two red cents about how "realistic" it may be to lose someone, or that "we don't always get to choose how people live/die/wuteva" (yes, I'm paraphrasing). Horse***t! A game of choices (what, do my LI choices not matter, while others do? Did I pay less money for my CE copy?) This is a game that we chose to romance a "romanceable character" (paramour cheevo/love scenes the whole sha-bang! Yes; they wrote him that way in ME2!). One specifically designed to appeal to women. A choice that damn well should have been honored! Every single player out there that romanced a LI in ME/ME2, and had any connection, great RPing moments with, did NOT go in to this third game believing for one second that there choice wouldn't matter.

****** poor excuses for the reason he needed to die. The majority of us have expressed our thoughts on this repeatedly, on this thread and the Thane thread. Yup! Will never believe differently that it didn't need to happen, but that is simply my opinion. No one has to agree with it. HOWEVER, Thanemancers most CERTAINLY deserved to have OUR choice HONORED!!! And Thane's inclusion in me3 certainly wasn't. It doesn't matter what some gasbag, sword-weilding, waste of pixels says......I didn't give one rip about him! So anything that cereal ninja might spout means diddly-squat! It is quite significant that Thane can be missed/skipped, already dead, and the scene still plays out......dead Kirahee or dead councilor. That knife lovin' hack will serenade us with a different song.....mention Kirahee, the Councilor, and possibly even Miranda (if allowed to die). It is so very shameful that we are expected to feel, what, glad that a waste of space like KL mentions him (IF he was even around to do the fight)?!?!?! No, no, no.....meaningful is being mentioned by friends/loved ones. Even game mechanics are important; a listing in the Codex, a significant listing in the Guidebook, an achievement for CHOOSING to stay with our LI of CHOICE!

We may never (probably won't) see a single change to the disaster that was Thane's romance or even his less than realized cameo overall in me3, but I'm damn sick and tired of hearing that we shouldn't feel the way we feel....again, horse***t! If you like how his character was handled fine....move the hell along. You have exactly (apparently) what you wanted. And what is done is done. If we want to try for more content with Thane, or even better, an OPTION for his life to extend to the end of the game, then leave us to it. It will not change a damn thing in your game. And the likelyhood of this happening is very slim to begin with (and that might be generous). People who like what was done to Thane, will not change the minds of those that don't. A better use of your time would be to focus on aspects of the game (or games/DLC's to come) that you would like to expand on, improve, add to, whatever.......But making others feel bad or frustrated is just ridiculous!

BAH!....ugh.....I soooooo need to go to bed. *THUNK!* (sorry if this rant is hard to follow....hehe.....I will probably regret posting this tomorrow.)

Donuts....you do know that I am going to be reminded of that past conversation about Thane and donuts.  Just where does he hang them?  Oh good gawd!!!!!!!  The ridges help keep the donuts from sliding off..... Now I will send Thane and his donut dispenser your way.....

Just dropping by(again) to say that as someone who didn't romance Thane but considered him a friend and liked him, I raged at how Shepard and crew just leaves Thane behind. Really BW?

Where was the emotion after Thane get shot? Romanced or not, Shep should have had some anger there. And to leave him behind? I almost equate this to when the third squaddie goes down in LOTSB. I hated that forced partnership with Liara. Why couldn't I check up on my fallen squaddie?

@gears: That whole Jacob switching sides is a bunch of bull. I really didn't talk to him due to the forced flirting, but it was obvious Jacob wasn't like that in ME2. And like you said, everyone switched sides in the trilogy. This was just a poor attempt to justify the cheating, and they know they can get away with it because Jacob wasn't well liked. And the reason he wasn't liked is their own fault.

I'm also tired of the deal with comments, even more so from certain people. I do not wave around my Garrus love and issue "deal with it" comments to fans of characters who were obviously ignored, shortchanged and butchered. And just because certain people got what they want doesn't mean others can't wish that for their chosen LI.

It's obvious that the waifu was the canon LI. Everyone else either gets lucky with certain other characters or nothing at all. So this means that certain choice are worth more than others, and are considered the "right choice by the writers.

I felt lucky that I chose Garrus, but it feels painfully hollow compared to what you guys are going through. At the end of the trilogy, everyone should have been feeling happy with their chosen paths and LI, not trying to deal with inconsiderate people who keep saying their choice wasn't canon, doesn't deserve anything special, wasn't well liked enough,, and to get over it.

@Dineboo - couldn't agree more. I really am glad for those people who got what they wanted out of there chosen LI. It is how it should be, and how all of us were hoping it would be. It's great that Garrus got the content he did, hell, even Liara....because the truth is, I like/find worthy ALL the previous ME squaddies. Seriously, I reall do. So why on earth would they want to do a disservice to some of there fanbase......why would they wish to castrate some of their characters; characters that they put a lot of time and effort into prior to me3.......why???
