I laughed until I cried when I heard that news. Imagine that, using resources to port to the Wii and yet, ME3 is a mess.

Anyway, I just watched on yt video about brekaing up with Thane in ME2. It' s the most cruel thing you can do in all series. Why would someone do that to him.. and his answer is so calm and understanding... Same in ME3. Someone who actually did that must be a cruel person... and those who decided about his fate in ME3 are even more cruel. I'm just sad now, I feel sorry for virtual character.. now I don't understand myself, too.

What is worse, Thane NEVER died in any of my games. I gave him plot armor. Always upgraded the Thanix Cannons, made sure he didn't get fried in Engineering when I didn't upgrade the shields, he was always loyal, and I always brought him with me through the collector base. There were times when I'd have him do the bubble but that was so I could hear that line that sounds so dirty.
So when ME3 came and he got forced into a death, I didn't take it well. The one person I could never stand to see die, did and it hurt...a lot. Even knowing he does, I still can't off him in ME2 and I won't have Shepard romance anyone else either.

I also don't understand why people say that Thane can easily die on the SM. He never died in my playthrough and never will. Even my second Thanemancer, who killed half of her crew was competent enough to keep him alive.
As for romancing anyone else, I used import from ME1 of my first Shepard to try Kaidan in ME3 (as an experiment). It was very hard not to romance Thane, whole game was just strange and forced. In ME3 I couldn' t keep that Shep away from life support. I was playing her thinking of Thane. I won't play ME3 again, it's too depressing.

Hell, because of my attachment to Thane's character, I can't even bring him to Pragia anymore......too much rain. I know; totally silly, but dammit! I won't be responsible for him hackin' up a lung because of some planet in a perpetual state of Monsoon season......bah!
Okay, another topic. I replayed LotSB last week, and I think it took me roughly 2 and half hours. Did most of you find that to be about average for that DLC (playing time, that is)?? I have a reason why I'm asking.....putting some thoughts together, so just looking for input.

Well, I found out what I don't want for Xmas...ME3 on the Wii U. If I find it under my tree, I will...let's just say it won't be a pretty sight.
I laughed until I cried when I heard that news. Imagine that, using resources to port to the Wii and yet, ME3 is a mess.
WTF? Utaker please tell me this is you pulling a very odd joke of some kind please.
This is how bad a taste ME3 left with me before it even came out, due to the leaked scripts.
Back at the end of Nov start of Dec. a friend of mine emailed me the ME3 leaked character scritps, a download to 'em anyway. Which I downloaded just never read, until Jan. When My mind just had to look at them they had been just sitting there and I kept hearing whispers of bad things in ME3.
Those whipsers were scary and I couldn't help but think it was impossilbe that they were true or had any credable source. After all everything BW had promissed and everything they'd done with the series had been golden.
ME1 had hooked me back in 2006 at E3 in fact E3 2006, two games had managed to become the greatest games I'd ever
seen, one of which was Gears of War, the other ME1.
In 2007 Dispite the fact I'd spent more hours in ME1 then I had in Gears, I was a bigger Gears of War fan, after playing both Gears 1 and ME1. Then in 2008 when
Gears 2 hit I became a bigger Gears fan. ME had some ground to make up
if it was going to be the main love of my video gaming life. HELL most
my closest friends said that NO game series could make me a bigger fan
then I was of Gears.
But then in 2010 Mass Effect 2 managed to do that
it stole my heart, the Mass Effect series was not only living up to what
BW claimed the series would be over the course of 3 games it was
becoming something so grand nothing like it had ever been seen.
In 2007 the first ME game hooked me in with the great characters, the universe, the lore, the story, I'd spent coutless hours playing ME1 even though it had some of the sh!ttest Game Play I'd ever done.
Then in 2010 ME2 came out, and it had better gameplay, it's story wasn't as good as ME1's, but for a middle act it was very good I felt. The time I spent in ME2 had managed to surpass that of ME1 by a landslid. I'd spent more time in ME2 then I did any other game. The reason why I'd spent so much more time in ME2 wasn't due to the better gameplay, nor the story, It was due to the characters in it, they were far better and more interesting then those of ME1.
The only ME1 character that was as enjoyable as the ME2 characters was the MAN URDNOT WREX.
Not only was the squad and crew so much better then that of ME1, I enjoyed the more minor characters so much more.
ME2 had good old Captain
Bailey one of the coolest dudes ever, Aria T'oak, Kal'Reeger, Xen,
Raan, Han'Gerrel (whom I liked very much until I got to know him
better), and The best Admiral Zaal'Koris (whom I hated at first until I
met Legion at the end of ME2 and then the 2nd time around brought Legion
with me on Tali's LM), there was also the big bad mean Reaper king
Harbinger (whom I've always liked and utnil becoming active here I
didn't even know some people hated him and prefered the ME1 Reaper).
Hell I spent more time in ME2 then I had in all the Star Wars stuff I'd
enjoyed since I was around 5 years old, I'd spent more time in ME2 then I
had ever invested in any Marvel Comic, I spent more time in ME2 then
anything EVER!!! Because of the great characters, ME2 had the best
characters ever, and this was MY Shepard's story, these characters were
my friends, and they were the coolest characters EVER!!!!
ME2
stole my fan heart and took and blew Gears down to number 2 on my
Favorite games, with ME2 the series stole my heart just like Samara stole my Shep's heart.
The
characters of ME2 were the best characters EVER! So you see those
whispers I was hearing had me very alarmed, what was worse I kept
hearing the same whispers, so I craked in Jan I looked at the leaked
scripts. I was heartbroken, angry, uspet, cheated, raped, conned, and
most of all I felt a part of myself had just died, a part of my soul had
been taken away and sent to be tormented in the fires of hell for what
could very well be the rest of forever.
Back in Jan. I had only one gaming magazine subsription, it was GameInformer and it would be done in Jan. I let it expire, partly because it was one of those 2 year subsription and in those 2 years GI's content got cut, it didn't have near as much as it used to. And the biggest reason I'd just read the leaked scripts I'd had sitting around for a few months. I'd been comteplating getting a 1 year subsription when it ran out, but the ME3 leaked scripts just sealed the deal, no new subscription.
After all the bad stuff in the leaked sript the news kept getting worse for ME3, not only did my choices not seem to matter in the leaked scripts, not only had BW thrown away it's promisses for Samara as a LI/Romance in ME3, the false lies/hope of curing Thane, the tossing away of most the ME2 cast. No that was just the tip of the bad news as it got closer to March 6th, more news came in
Auto-dailgoue the game was full of it, Action Mode, then the space copies, the vomit enducing ending, the news that BW had thrown away Kelly's content from the leaked scripts, they'd thrown away Zaeed's and Kasumi's content, they'd went about recuded Kolyat's role in the Cerberus coup, they continued to throw the good stuff away, and keep the bad stuff, making the game more worse then I could have thought it would be from the leaked scripts, on the upside BW left Samara's content the same.
Still it didn't ease the pain that this was going to be the most epic fail ever in the history of anything, Happy Days and the Jumping the Shark thing had managed to be outdone by Mass Effect 3.
So you see after the whole ME3 mess I don't read any gaming news, I am compelty out of touch with it because of what ME3 has done to me, so please Utaker I really want to hear this is a joke, but just be honest and tell me if it's not, because I can just see this being the kind of sick thing that BW pulls with ME3, putting it on the lame video game counsol the new Wii the Wii for cripes sake, Nentendo isn't even the same type of gaming audanice any more they now carter to a completly differnt group then Xbox, PlayStation, and PC/Computer games do. So if this is true Utaker well it has hit another new all time low for me.
My heart has been crushed more my soul died a bit more, and my faith in video games has been lost more if this wasn't a joke

It seems that it's going to be one of the launch games for the Wii U. In all honesty I now feel even more hurt by what BioWare did with ME3. Throwing the characters, fans, and promises out the widow, tossing us and them aside like we were nothing, their promises were never made.
Again wasted money on something fans didn't want, I think we'd have rather seen that money going into making ME3 what we were told it would be.
Again just urggha I just don't even know anymore, my faith in video games is fading more. It's sad that ME3 has done such a good job of making me loose interest in any video game. I look at them and I feel this empty pit, Mass Effect was supposed to be a trilogy, something new, unqiue and different from anything else, a new milestone in storytelling instead it's just ......... just........
sour, nothing at all.
Things are supposed to go sour after the trilogy not at the third installment of it. I just........... I .......... just got this giant hole in me, like a part of me was lost, part of my soul was stolen.

This is my favorite part of that article:
Interactive storytelling delivers an experience unlike any other, with multiple outcomes determined by your choices. Mass Effect 3 will redefine what you know about emotionally engaging story.
Interactive? LOL...well, I'll give them that if one does not compare ME3 to the previous titles. Multiple Outcomes...LMFAO!!!! Try multiple colors...meh, 3..you get 3 colors. Unless they add the EC to the game then they might get a fourth or clarification on the three. Either way, still funny. Yes, redefine for me an emotionally engaging story. If by emotionally engaging you mean weeks of nightmares, night terrors, sobbing uncontrollably, the need to vomit profusely, and the great need to not play another game for a very long time, then yes...it is emotionally engaging.
I will give them this at least they won't be attached to the ME2 characters because they will all probably be dead. If the default is anything like the default we got then I feel for those who actually play this game. This is what they'll get: http://www.gamefront...mport-from-me2/ But if they are truly new to the series, it won't matter to them anyway. I would just hate for them to come in here and see all the cool and awesome characters they will never get to know on the Wii.

I can't even understand that at all, because when I played ME2 the first two times I didn't even have a high enough Paragon score to chose between Samara or Morinth in Samara's LM. It automatically had Samara kill Morinth. I'm just I'm gonna go cry my eyes out over the stupidity of that.
This one too "Suicide Mission Deaths: Jack, and Thane." What why this is dumb really Jack and Thane die, I'm going to go cry it is more pain and more of BW saying they don't give a flying f*ck about my favorite characters.
This one here ?Suicide Mission Survivors (Normandy Crew): Joker and Chakwas. All other crew members are considered killed." More BW don't give a crap, My favorite crew of the Normandy are Kelly, Steve, Ken, & Gabby the ME2 three all die. Rupert was thrown away like he never existed too.
THis one here "Suicide Mission Survivors: Mordin, Jacob, Garrus, Tali and Miranda."
WTF? Really more backwards bending mindless pandering to the horny teenage boys group, Miranda lives, well I know why she was made to be the ultimate sex symbol of ME. OH boy don't let the Miranda fans see this it will go right to their heads and off they'll go with "See Proof Miranda is Shepard's equal, proof that she is the the main character of ME2, proof that she needs her own DLC, proof that she is the best LI for Shep, proof that the sun rises and sets in the crack of Miranda's @ss"
Apparently Jacob lives too, not sure why after all "He wasn't well liked"
Mordin lives WTF? He has the greatest replacement character if he died EVER. This is just from the Youtube vids I've watched of the Krogan Genophage part. If I were able to enjoy ME3 like I could ME1 and ME2 I'd go back and have Mordin die just to see Podak WIks.Oh wait that's right Mordin is Patrick Weeks personal favorite and I think he created the character or something I don't, I do know I saw Patrick say Mordin was his favorite something about "How can anyone who loved ME2 not LOVE Mordin as a favorite?"
Of course Garrus and Tali live BW only cares about the ME1 squad and some of the ME2, Miranda mainly, though Jack I'd argue is getting more attention due to BW's sexy makeover to make her more likable because she has some hair, make up, less tattoos, and a new sexy outfit.
"Grunt and Legion is not recruited." WTF? Nor "Zaeed and Kasumi" WTF?
No DLC logged either however "Liara is the Shadow Broker." Oh god more pandering to the writers pet, the dang blue blow up dolls at it again.
WTF? It's like BW don't even care about the great work they did in ME2, and the landmark achivement it was for not just video games but any form of media, TV, Movies, you name it, they did so much great with ME2 they act like they hate it.
Anyone figure out what is up with the ME2 facebook page yet?
I'm off to go vomit and cry my eyes out, I'm just so hurt now after this, and the Wii U thing. But this is really what hurt me, the Wii U was ehh yeah dumb@sses it don't surprise me.
But this the ME2 characters don't exist it hurts me in so many ways, Thane, Samara, Jack, Ken & Gabby, Kelly, Zaeed and Kasumi, it hurts me so much I'm gonna go cry now.

Why does Jacob survive but Thane doesn't? Especially if Jacob "wasn't liked"? Are they attempting to correct the character assassination?
They really like sticking it the Thane fanbases, huh?
So is Garrus going to be an LI to femShep? Only Kaidan for the straight femShep? Or will they just go ahead and make femShep lesbian? I'm sure Jacob won't be a romance option for femShep.
This news solidifies my resolve not to make BW products a Day 1 purchase ever again.

ME3 is coming to the Wii U. Why?
