I will get to it after I'm doing the field trip thing today. I've looked at the list and to be honest, I haven't heard a good quarter or so of those songs before. So I will have to find them and listen, I want to give each a fair shot. I don't listen to the radio, I abhor commercials and needless chattering about people's birthdays, when the next redneck car racing/fishing derby is, news about only Vermont, etc.

This time of the year is horrible, it's filled with end of school events, concerts, field trips my kids do. Add that to not having my computer, two cats who made a bolt for the door and are lost, my parents needing help moving, and my husband who is now unemployed and I find myself in a state of misery and stress a lot. I cannot wait to go to the ocean so I can get away from this house. Truth be told, I want to get away from my husband. LOL.

Just quickly taking a break from the LAST BATCH OF THE FIRST ROUND OF PROOFING OF THE FANBOOK (WOO HOO!!!! ) to let you know that I've thought of a new Thane project to do once this one is finished. I SAID FINISHED, give me a break, peeps, yamainu and I have been going flat out on this thing for nearly four months, and we're already fleshing out the Monopoly idea (who's up for dirty thane monopoly in Copenhagen next year? Mmm? I'm determined to make that happen, even if it's just me, moira, yamainu and emerald)

Anyway, since Bioware haven't come up with anything, I'm saying we should write our own script. Show them that even we can come up with something. I haven't ironed out the details yet, suffice to say each writer would have their own sections to do. Eg, Thane x Javik dialogues - Thane alive. Shepard x Mordin dialogues - Thane alive, curable, not curable; Thane x Joker post citadel coup dialogue. Shep x Thane dialogue romance scene (I'm doing that one, and the Shepard x Mordin one). Kaidan x Thane x Shepard dialogue "cheating" confrontation (want to do that one too, but the fact that Margurite hates Kaidan might not be beneficial). They will include the dialogue wheel options, renegade, paragon interrupts, scene descripts, everything that would be needed in an actual script/story.

Just a thought. Will flesh it out at a later date... AFTER THE FANBOOK IS FINISHED. ish.

Meh, I bounce back quickly but thanks Myth. I felt better about my situation during my daughter's field trip. This tiny chipmunk went to take a drink in pig water (yeah I know, gross) and fell in and drowned. It was then that I realized, hey my day or life doesn't seem so crappy right now..I could be that chipmunk. Not only did it die while getting a drink but it was in pig water. Uck. Then there was about 40 kids (9-10 year olds) all trying to poke at it. So, yeah...I suppose things could be worse.

As for the script idea..it's great and I'd love to do it but I will be utterly useless between July 14-28th as I will be on vacation..whether I have internet or not is dependent on whether or not I feel like bringing my desktop with me. I do not own a laptop anymore. Had one, realized I hate the things because they do not pack the power I am accustomed too, they are too small and I have a habit of dropping them. If this is being done after those dates then I can tell you that I can do Javik or Joker. Those are really the only other two characters I have a good feel for. I'd probably do best with Joker. If you wanted written descriptions of what he's doing, his facial expression, mannerisms then yeah, Joker. He's not different from his VA Seth Green and any one who knows me knows that I'm a Seth nerd....and have been for years. Yes I admit it....he's not green, he's not an elf, he's short but everytime I watch him....Ooooh it's Seth Greeeeeen!!! Droool.... I had seizures Monday night when he showed up on RAW....again.

Funny still knowing that, my Shep would never romance Joker if given the opportunity. I also don't allow anyone to talk during Robot Chicken or Family Guy.

@Squeegee - already voted dear. And unfortunately reminding everyone in the threads is a great way to make sure people don't forget! I always forget to look to the right on my screen to see my group updates! And this might hit newbies etc. So everyone go vote for songs for Thane!
And Squeegee - keep me updated with anything else you need help with or anything else you have going on - real life keeps me busy lately so I don't have too much time to search around for new projects!!

@utaker - hope the move/trip/unemployment goes well (?) - hang in there. Soon it will be vacation time and you can have a neck snap on the beach.

I'm excited to hear that the fanbook is ALMOST ready to go! That is very exciting. I also think we should send a pdf version to Keythe Farley - he might get a kick out of it.

@utaker. I know what you mean. Still having that extra in-person support is (almost) always a good thing. *hug*

@Squee didn't even know about it. been a bit busy lately. real life does have a tendency to get in the way, and all my free time these days goes into the fanbook. I'll take a look at it WHEN I CAN!

@Cosmo I may have been a bit over excited when I said I was on the last of the proofreading. I discovered when cross-referencing the supporters pages that a couple of those listed as contributors are people I haven't seen the pages for. But it's only a couple, so maybe 15 pages at most. One session, unless their fanfics, in which case it will be two. 

EDIT: 2 DAYS, SQUEE?! Most people who would want to be here wouldn't have even been on the BSN in the last two days! A week, maybe. But 2 days?! Geez woman, I wasn't here for three, and it will take me at least two days to go through all the songs I don't know, which is most of them...

i wanna tell ya something^^
i had a wonderfull day with plush thane (out ot this projeckt Quest for the cure) in cologne, even it was rainy and i did something for all sihas around the world.
i don't know, if you have something like this over there, but in cologne there is a bridge where couples hang locks on it and throw the key into the rhine.
It looks like this
so i went there today together with thane and put a representative lock for all sihas around the world on it together with him and throw the key into the water
the custom says that couples who do this, will never break apart and so i thought it would be a nice idea
