OMG I haven't read this in ages. It talks about the Catalyst in a different light. I'm not too keen on Thane's storyline, but it's a f*ckton more than we got.

I'm going to thoroughly read this when I get home.

Did he think Shepard moved on or something (seeing how she automatically says she's there for the VS, ugh), or thought it was best for her to move on? I headcanon that Thane is working with hanar and Alliance operatives to finally solidify the cure for Keprals, but that he knows that Cerberus is bugging the Citadel and thus can't speak openly in front of Shepard. However, I also headcanon that Shep knows this, and therefore keeps her questions in Huerta businesslike, while secretly inviting Thane back to the Normandy to really reconnect (I just close my eyes during the make out scene and pretend they're back in Shep's quarters). After the coup attempt on the Citadel, Thane leaves a message with Kolyat with the coordinates to a Cerberus base (if you listen to the extended death scene audio, it even has Kolyat telling Shepard "Here," and apparently giving her something). This opens up a quest to find the cure for Keprals, and coincides with Kasumi's mission, culminating in a full-scale aquatic battle sequence on Kahje where Shep kills a reaper and disperses the cure for Keprals into the planet's atmosphere.

Don't know if this will help anyone else, but thought I'd post that here. It sure helped me deal with the wild inconsistencies in their dialogue and interactions in ME3. Headcanon for the win.

(Clothes get ripped off, sexy time ensues, lots of groans, moans)

Sorry, I'm suddenly in a bad mood for some reason and I don't know why. I'll go play NWN for a little while, cheer me up and then i'll reply to messages and the like.

Also, does anyone have a link to the flycam mod page? I downloaded what I thought was the right one but it's not working. I may have just dropped it in the wrong folder, though. :S

Since it is the general theme around here to tell others how to play their game, how they should feel when doing so and what romance should have picked to play the game right, I figure it's time to tell everyone that no one else matters except Thane. Everyone else is trivial because they have petty problems compared to his. /sarcasm

The starchild is traumatized and the galaxy will never forget Thane, Shepard, and their love. Especially their love. I hope they have mental images that burn.

The flycam mod? Do you mean the bindings needed to edit the Coalesced?

OMG, what a jerk. I responded. It reminds me of times, when I was fighting trolls in BG2. Or on my counter strike forum. Damn it, every day I had to try to reason with masses of people and explain them forum rules all over again. I hated that.

Moira (and everyone), I think we will make more progress if we don't feed the trolls.

Honestly, we are not going to change everyone's mind.   There are quite a few new people on our side that are jumping into this thread to support us; especially once we clarify our viewpoint.

But, it's like I said yesterday, we aren't going to win any points by being overly emotional, shouting at people, name-calling, etc.

I know this is something that we are all passionate about, but we have to stick to calm, rational arguments.  We make ourselves look bad when threads just turn into bickering matches.  I know this is difficult, believe me. 

If a poster comes in who obviously hasn't read the thread.  Just tell them that they are mistaken (or something to that effect), and link them a thread that clarifies what we are asking for, our viewpoint, etc. 

Also, try to make posts as easy to read and succinct as possible.  I know that we have alot to say and all of it is valid and needs to be heard.  But,  we want people who are popping into these threads to easily see what our views are.  Many people are not going to read walls of text.  So, try to paraphrase or use links if possible.  This seemed to work for me a couple of times yesterday.
