Dang you, just when I thought I could go my entire life without staring at a shirtless Thane!
Guess he gets to join Garrus and Wrex on my list of shirt-less dudes I've oogled, nice work

Personally I had no problem with how his ended. I kinda like that he does indeed die and how that pans out for thane and his Shepard. It was sweet. A little sad but I would have been disapointed if he didn't die, that was the romance, bittersweet, sad doomed, and I feel that romance makes his special. It is a mature romance with someone older I felt and the doomed part of it made it a reality.
Mmm How old are you ?
Us old geezers have romance that isn't doomed, you know ?

Maybe it didn't bother you and some other people which is fine but it sure bothers us Thane fans when we didn't even get an option to save him...y'know kinda like what Jack,Miranda and the rest got! I got no problem with people who think Thane had an Aweome death but when you've romanced him and want to save him and your shepard is just standing there like a ******..and then come to find out you have no option to save him at all that's pretty much giving us the middle finger!
They should have treated Thane better!

Might need some nourishment with that....throws a banana.
I had a story going where Thane used his pants.....nevermind it's too much for this forum.

Yes, it's jam. Very sticky jam.
She's got the banana!!! Quick chase her into Life Support....

Recycled but we need a Thane party!!! He said he'd very much like to be dessert....
or was it that he'd very much like to visit a desert?

Thane: "Siha. Are you feeling well. Your perspiring profusely, and your pupils are dilated."
Me: *Bum rushes Thane, knocking him to the floor* "Soups on!!!!"
*Thanemancers from all over the place (vents in the ceiling, grates in the flooring, pipes.....) storm Life Support.....begin attempting body shots of Thane, and covering him with candy.....you pervs can come up with what comes next....<snark>*
Thane: "This is......disquieting." .......uh-huh. Sure Thane...I don't buy it for a second; booze, candy and "hubba-hubba" (que Teddy Pendergrass music) <wink>

to those who romanced Thane, you knew what you were getting into. One of the first things Thane tells you is that he is dying, that he doesn't have much time left. you knew any romance you have with him wouldn't last very long, you shouldn't be surprised that he died.
EDIT: you should feel glad that he survived into ME3 to begin with, not to mention the fact that he went out in blaze of glory fighting Kai Leng

Why the surprise ? You have seen similar stuff or worse on the Ashley LI thread you frequent.
What blaze of glory ? Not a single NPC mentions him. Not even Bayley, who had the job to save the ambassador. Not Garus, Tali, Kasumi, Grunt.. who were squad mates with him. No one. Where is the glory ?
PS: Totally not hypocrital that you made a thread for Joker LI content.. Let me guess, you didn't notice Joker has brittle bones and can't really do anything romantic without getting hurt.
Because if you did notice then... H Y P O C R I S Y is rank around here

Wow..gotta say you got some balls to say something like that in here!
But I'm gonna say this as nice as I can....Yes he was dying but there was more to him than just his illnes and....why the hell would BW just make a character and just throw him out like he meant nothing, all the other LI's had options you could either save them or not! They did'nt do that for those that romanced Thane which I think is really unfair! I read somewhere that his death wasn't set in stone! What you said is really rude, what if the shoe was on the other foot? I don't think you would like somebody coming on your LI's forum and telling you the same thing! If Bioware can have the genopahge cured and have Shepard ressurected I don't see any problem with having Thane cured either!

@Ren - don't worry sweetie. No need to respond to a post like that. Just listen to the crickets. Let's see if I can find another nice Thane picture....consider it a "High Colonic" for the brain.
Oh I will at least make sure he/ she gets exposed as the hypocrit he/she/it is. :innocent:
