Maybe it didn't bother you and some other people which is fine but it sure bothers us Thane fans when we didn't even get an option to save him...y'know kinda like what Jack,Miranda and the rest got! I got no problem with people who think Thane had an Aweome death but when you've romanced him and want to save him and your shepard is just standing there like a ******..and then come to find out you have no option to save him at all that's pretty much giving us the middle finger!
First of all, people misunderstood me. I meant his whole romance was more mature than in the entire series. All the others felt more young. Thane's issues are more of an adult nature than others in the group and I get the feeling that other than Mordin or Wrex one of the oldest crew members you have. I love him for his maturity.
I feel his death was forgone conlusion. I agree Shepard standing there staring was stupid and badly done but Thane's death eventually when you see him should have happened. He was dying anyway but he died saving the council and the citadel. It was honoring Thane not the middle finger.
That would be the Jacob romance. I heard about that and I can't even be buddies with him anymore.
Also I love Thane and it seems you are implying I am not a fan. Not meaning you can't be bothered by it, by all means. Personally though I felt it did better justice to the character than slowly languishing in the hospital. And miracle cure would have taken from the nature of the romance.
Ever lost someone you loved? If you have wouldn't you have gone to the ends of the earth to save them? My dad died of liver failure due to cancer. So you think instead of him spending his last days with his family and friends it would have been better for him to just get run through with a sword? I'll make sure my mum knows that if there was a cure for cancer she shouldn't have bothered with it because that would have taken away from their romance.

@CrRamos07 I have known cancer victims who loved their families. Sometimes, no matter the love, things don't end happily.

I want to ask him in response, "Do the families then mourn their loved one afterward?"
