Hey guys and gals.. was out this week, got some job interviews and played dA2. Found another great Bioware romance, and wouldn't you know it I picked the cursed guy destined to die!

Anders is soo cute though.. Tortured cursed mages FTW


I think Thane is a lot more mature obviously, but the DA2 story was surprisingly good.

Gah! I've yet to play DA2!

I get the feeling I'll fall for Fenris (dat voice) but Anders sure is tempting too... And if I ever pick a Male-Hawke I'll probably end up with Merril.

Heh, I guess that's what several playthroughs are good for !
Speaking of which, I need to finish my DA:O playthroughs so I can import into DA2...*sadface*

@Emerald - I love Gideon Emery's (Fenris' VA) voice.....most people know I have a "thing" for voices (hello Thane...mmmmmm), so when I got DA2 on it's release day, I was convinced I would go for Anders (didn't know anything yet about the storyline, but I had a soft spot for him in DAA and I loved Greg Ellis' voice for him in Awakenings....didn't know yet that they switched VA's.) But then, my Hawke took the job "Bait and Switch", and Gideon's lovely vocal chords strummed through my stereo system....Fenris, YES! I promptly forgot about any other LI after that....HA! It took me 5 whole play throughs to finally romance Isabella and Anders (on two separate play throughs, mind you.)

I only boinked, er romanced, Anders once. Fenris got my FemHawke all the other times. It may have been a short game (with lots of shortcuts) but it had....*drum roll* replayability. Yep folks, the big "R" word that seems to be missing on these forums lately. Reeeeplayability. See how it just rolls off the tongue....

You know what else rolls off the tongue?? ...ridges. Hmmmm, maybe it's best I just stop right there. LOL

You know where I was going with that, don't ya? Ya dirty birdies!

@renmiri: i find anders says wayyyy to early that he loves you...and he changed sooo much from awakening...well...but his rival romance is absolutly awesome xD
but well, no one is better in da2 as fenris...but i'm always thinking about who's better...zevran or fenris...it's sooo difficult

yup, people go on about how bad DA2 was (and it was a bit disappointing for me) but i enjoyed it infinitely more than ME3 and have replayed it many times. I went for Fenris first and have never had my hawke romance anyone else, If I played Mhawke, i'd def go Isabella though.

i think the title was bad choosed with dragon age 2...dragon age origin 2.1 or "hawke chronicle" or something would make it etter... because it was not after origin...it was at the beginning on the same time...and they mixed up the time line a bit...
but it was not a bad game...i play it for in between or while doing other things on computer...and sarcastic hawke is fun i guess i have 10 hawkes played through^^ i loooove variety xD

well i guess it's maybe myths and mine fault...we told squeegee to take a break, because she seemed to be at the edge...
we noticed it because she used rash words yesterday and her tweetes worried us so we told her, that she may head off the campaign for a few days..
beanie and me are handling now the campaign account on twitter for the next 2 weeks

Ya DA2 is a bit cramped with the small world and the reused dungeons but story rocks. I agree, if it wasn't linked to DA Origins people wouldn't have hated it so much, as it was definitely not a sequel in any way. But story wise I prefer DA2 (ducks from the trash thrown at my direction) I find the story arcs much deeper and relevant then DAO. Of course dAO is a lot bigger in scope so character stories go by the wayside.

Fenris is awesome but I have a thing for cursed / doomed lovers, what can I say.. Is it any wonder I picked Thane ?

I sent the pic to the Developers (cause I know there's FF fans) and I also sent one to Mike Gamble to see if their be a colloboration with Mr. Uematsu and ME Composers.
