Responses on one mass effect forum to my complaint about Thane being forgotten ( I mentioned Garrus talking about VS only):

"He wasn't forgotten, his name showed up on the memorial wall right after he died"

This is so incredibly stupid, that I couldn't even force myself to respond...

In a way though, this perceived injustice brought you all together. I don't think any other 'mancers have a closer-knit community.

Eh, I'd say the Drellickers NSAS and Cure Thane BSN-groups are evidence of us Sihas/Thane-bros being close knit before ME3 came along actually. And the "Cure Thane" banner collab is another one.

Although it's true in a sense; Personally, I didn't start posting here until ME3 (I always lurked from a hidden vent), and since then I've met wonderful forumites. Always look on the bright side of things eh?

Not that I'm giving up on Thane over here mind you

I'm ambivalent towards the EC. For alot of my playthroughs it means it's an ok ending.
I still find the RGB choice and Starchild to be garbage tbh. But I'm ok with what happens to the Squadmates/Galaxy for most of the part.

However with the deal of how Thane/Jacob/Samara is handled, it leaves one hell of a bitter taste for me. True, Jacob and Samara got slides in the ending, but for Jacobmancers two of them were slaps in the face (the ones with Brynn present), for Samaritans attempting to choose her as a LI doesn't influence the LI flashback*. Thane doesn't get a slide at all. Not even one that remotely touches on something that pertains to him i.e not even Kolyat's fate was included.


*Is the LI flashback (not the KIA flasback) altered to reflect choosing Thane? As far as I know (I could be dead-wrong on this) Jacob isn't shown as an LI (but there is a flashback recorded for him weird).

(Asking this since technically I didn't experience the EC with my own playthrough, rather, I watched my brothers Mirandamancing playthrough)
