donelly has scottish accent in me??? xD ok i should try it in english xD we haven't so much accents in german version^^ no one is speaking bavarian or something xD well orlesian in dragon age have a bit of french attitude and so on...but most guys speaks "high german"

hahaha xD of course not xD i have not to deal with meer xD the name of german va for sheploo is markus schädlich and he is BRILLIANT same goes for nicole as femshep. sorry guys. i don't like jennifers way of femshep interpretation. too much badass sound for me...nicole increased over 1-2 and overfly jennifer in 3 in every aspect. have played both...
also the va's are much better in german (we're famouse as a va country and for the quality of synchronisation, just japan is better)

also fenris, zevran and varric are soo much better varric was made to be personified by tilo schmitz and schmitz loved this role and fullfilled it with so much life.
it's just a pit, that male hawke got the wonderfull voice of sasha rotermund, who has been zevran before... i love this voice but the voice belongs to zev not to hawke... but well xD
so many famouse VA's in the bioware games in dragon age ^^ and in mass effect as well^^ it's a bit, that most german players don't play in german anymore because the synchronisation was bad in me1...but that was becaue there was no dialogue regisseur in me1...so that all seemed to be a bit out of content...after schädlich overtook it, it becomes sooo wonderfull and mordin, mordin is the best in german mass effect verion 
and sten and thane has the awesome voice of konstantin graudus...soo deep...thoughtfull... haaa...but well here goes the point to farely, also if i'm always hearing konstatin when i'm writing my ff

I'll openly admit I haven't heard the German VO's but I do love the English ones a lot.
Personally, I think Hale is wonderful as Fem-Shep, and Farley = mind blown, and Beattie as Mordin (Not as fond of Saylers in ME3)...I could go on, but I think I'll hold it

The only other language I've actually heard ME3 in, is French, and that was actually by accident. My ME3 copy is French (I blame Game.uk for that), and since it's an Xbox-version, there is only one VO language on-disc, so in order to hear the game in English, I've got to have an English VO-pack installed. Thing is, that VO-pack is on a USB-drive, and at one time I forgot to plug it in so all the voices and subtitles were in French. XD

I should perhaps note that in Sweden, dubbing is very rare, it's only done for Children's Television/Movies. Subtitling in Swedish for games happens sometimes, but it's always bad.
Ubisoft, for instance (forcingly) subtitled Assassin's Creed 2 (and AC:BH, AC:RV) and the translation really sucked. Oh boy, there was one crucial line in AC:2 that got comlpetely butchered by the Swedish subtitles...>_<

As for Donnelly, yeah, I caught the "oddity" in his accent. Still, I love that character, I was really bummed when I found out he was supposed to be "a male Kelly" LI, but it got scrapped.:C

yeah that's how it works in netherlans as well with the subtitles...
maybe it's just because i'm so used to the german va's and i'm really in the topic. i deal with the va's so often also in other movies/series...
but especially jennifer...noo sorry, i can't deal with her way..i've tried..i really did....often...but naaah, never could take it after playing it with nicole

@mnomaha - just doesn't sound Scottish to me! Maybe it's the cheesy/stereotypical accent but I don't know anyone who sounds like that. Not even Billy Connolly has an accent that exaggerated! I tried to repeat what he was saying in that accent and well... it was entertaining at least! =P

@moira - yep the German VA's are really great! But I do still like most of the English ones too... Farley's especially! =P

:lol:I'm with beanie, donnelly's accent is all wrong, It is clearly meant to be scottish but no scottish person sounds like that.  If the VA was scottish they must have asked him to enhance his accent or something because that's not natural for any part of scotland i've been to.   Its easy if you're from a place, I watched all of 'No Country for Old Men' without realising Kelly MacDonald (Scottish Person) was in it, I'm sure there were people in the states who would have known her accent was not her own from the get go.

JECW, Morie is hard at work on the comish, funny I was just talking to her the other day. We both seem to be something of a perfectionist with our works.

On the subject of accents, I liked Ken's Scottish accent.

A mini plushie this a second one or something? Maybe should send Utaker a completly different one then everyone else, her own one.

Speaking of her where is Utaker at? Haven't seen much activity from her in awhile, maybe I'll just PM her probably be a better way to go considering sometimes life sh!ts on people and I'm probably thinking way to dark. She's probably fine just on vacation or something.

on my list of Scots I can't understand...well only one really...Sean Connery. I cannot understand him at all anymore.

@beanie, Donovan Hock was awful, I don't know how accurate his accent was but to me it sounded very forced... I don't know why they can't just use people who actually have the accent they want, surely it can't be that hard to arrange, there's certainly plenty of Scots in Canada.
