I think Hock is supposed to be South African?

Well John Ullyat tried at least I'll give him that. Even if the accent is forced I guess it does add variety VO-wise. But I'll agree, they could have had a more diverse cast for characters that are supposed to have accents. Miranda is a good example for instance.

@wildannie. He is? I knew he wasn't American, English, or Australian, but I really wasn't sure what he was. To me he was always just, that evil-human guy.

Isn't that kinda what we're going for in the real world? Judging people on their actions rather than their genetics?

On the previous note though, I was very pleased that the English sounded like they actually were English in ME3, forced though they may be. I also like that the Big Ben sniper was there. ^^

Regarding Miranda, I also agree. It would have been a lot better to have VA's with the accent the character was supposed to have.

To keep it on-Thane, I wonder what accent Thane would have. Hell, I wonder what Drell speech sounds like. That would have been nice. Having an option for Shepard to ask their alien LI what their speech actually sounded like. Not necessary and I don't really wish it, but nice.

If you romanced Thane in Mass Effect 2 and have him survive, then have him die in Mass Effect 3 in the hospital. Will he appear as the third vision in the Extended Cut ending? There are three visions of characters in the ending which would be Anderson, a Squadmate who died and your Love Interest. Will Thane be the Love Interest vision like the other characters you romance or not because technically his romance in Mass Effect 3 isn't a proper one? I just want to make sure because it would be pretty lame to have Liara or someone as the Love Interest vision instead.

I'm reasonably certain he appears. Some have reported seeing his flashback without a romance, too. In the latter, though, it probably depends on which ending you pick. Either way, he should always appear so long as you have romanced him on your playthrough.

As I recall from others who have seen it, he will show up in that first vision most of the time, but not as your LI. I believe the LI (if you chose NOT to romance anyone else after Thane's death) slot will now go to the squadmate you use the most (??) or maybe it is Joker again....

Hopefully someone more familiar with this than myself, will be along shortly to answer you. Happy gaming.

**EDIT** I would trust Phoenix's accounts better than mine, since I never downloaded the EC....just working off of memory of what others have said, and most likely getting it wrong.....heh!

you see him first while the end yes, romances, if you unromanced him he appears with the victims of the war. both is the same animation

I've got some problems with #SaveThane - for an option campaign group. Sometimes there are a few threads missing, but now I can see only six of them.

Are they gone or is something wrong with the forum? And, what's more important, does anyone know how to fix this?

I don't know if they have been deleted or if something else is up, I haven't been active in the group these past days (working on artwork has pretty much eaten up my forum time) so I didn't notice it until now. Was there a particular discussion you were looking for?

@Roxy you're welcome. Thane is one of the best characters. I like stealthy assassins, better than soldiers.
