Anyways, I was thinking today...

Every Squaddie has a scene or two on the Citadel.

Kaidan has a dinner with Shepard.
Vega appears in the Embassies and then in Purgatory.
Liara has lunch at Apollo's Cafe with her father and later speaks with Shepard on the other end of the commons.
And Garrus takes Shepard to the top of the Precidium for a shooting contest.

So, if Thane was a squaddie, What would his Citadel moment have been?

Hmmm candlelit dinner with shepard if romanced and...if he's just your friend how about a conversation in a library...he does like to read lol!

Ahem... A date with Thane ,where would that be.... hmmm... I think that a picnic would be perfect. Sitting on the grass, among the flowers, looking at the Presidium Lake and just enyoing the moment...and finally planning that trip to desert.

Edit: And of course that would end up in captain's quarters.

*giggles*  I didn't even notice the bed behind him lol....I say....nice touch!
I love it when he smiles..makes me happy! And I agree he is sexy!

Well.. is not really accurate.. Thane shouldn't have a belly button since he is not a mammal he wouldn't have umbilical choird.. and no nipples either. But his chest would look very weird without it so I left it. And I also had to add a layer of scales to the skin you see above. Having trouble finding some scales that scale well though

I like Coldi's idea of a picnic. Thane and Shep eating, drinking wine, snuggling together as Thane reads a book aloud....

I also like the library, but it's not very date-ish.

The library was an idea place to meet him if you were just friends with Thane...I thought that would be nice! ^^

An Art musuem would be fabulous! I mean if Thane likes to read I'm sure he might like art too!

Now, now....no dis'in on the Shepard Shuffle. Those are some slick moves.....(Morinth likes them. And she's got "discriminating" tastes... O.o ).



As for Thane dancing, as much as I would love that (talk about slick moves; ya know he gots them! *wolfwhistle*), the way they portrayed him in me-bleh, I just can't see the 'exertions' of dancing. Hell, that is one of the biggest problems I have with the Kai Lame fight (well, one among many *sneer*). The man can barely breathe (apparently), and supposedly gets dizzy from lack of oxygen in his blood, but yeah....lets stick him in a fight with super-cereal killer. meh *bitter/moan/grumble/rumble*

Even Jack had to admit Shepard couldn't dance.

Thane in ME3 didn't want to do anything. Especially dance. He was perfectly happy staring out into the Citadel sky.

One of the many things that made no real sence was the fact that he tells you he's to sick to join you, but during the coup he can run around trying to find you and fight Kai Leng. Not that that was much of a fight.

Shepard would DEFINITELY break all of Thane's toes if he tried to lead her in a slow waltz. or a foxtrot, tango, quickstep. Shepard would probably send him to an early grave if they ever tried a Viennese! >.<

I think a dinner would have been good. Like the Kaidan one only better, with different dialogue a lot more emotion shown for a romanced Thane and Shepard. That way, at the end, after the kiss reaffirming their relationship, should Kolyat happen to just "walk by" they could make it a FAMILY dinner! I wanna see Shepard and Thane and Kolyat having dinner together.

I love that picnic idea though. Maybe a little dinner sitting on a raised edge of the Presidium lake. Maybe dancing one of those couples shuffles at at the side of the lake to the tones of a beautiful violin being played by a conveniently places busker, perhaps?

You know what the best thing about that date would be? In my head, only, cause this wouldn't be suitable for in-game, but the best thing would be if Thane proposed. At least for Margurite. But definitely NOT in-game. That must firmly stay in the realm of fanfiction, my friends.
