Why not propose in game ? They are both very likely to die soon. Why not just do something that will make them both happy while they can ?

A date on a desert or dry place would be fun too.. Like the sands of Mars or some arid planet close to the Citadel..

I don't think they would put a proposal in game because some people would have a problem with it. Not everyones Shepard wants to get married. Some players don't want to see that kind of thing. Also if they do it for Thane then they have to do it for everyother character and I don't see Bioware doing that.

Bah! Is very romantic if Sheppard "elopes" and takes a few days off with her LI right before the galaxy gets transformed into Reaper goo. Sheppard dies soon, at least in 75% of the endings.

I agree, but I see the sense in Ava's reasoning. That's what I think too.

That said, they OWE us for screwing us over so much in the first place, so Thane should AT LEAST do something extra special! A proposal would be nice.

That said, here's how I think it would work.

I imagine that both Sheppard and Thane know death is coming to them soon, the proposal and marriage is not fora 20+ year "live happily ever after" deal, it is a way they can die tied to the people they loved most. A symbol / statement about how they feel about each other, even knowing their time together is short. 

For people not into marriage, maybe a ceremony to Kalahira making them lifemates or something ? A prayer JUST FOR ROMANCED THANE this time, not the same prayer everyone gets just by passing near him on the way to Kaidan's hospital bed 

BTW one of the cruelest things about ME3 Thane is the way it forces you to hear "We both knew it wouldn't last" EVERY SINGLE TIME you talk with Thane on the hospital, to end the dialog,  in the short time he is alive in game. After the 3rd time I just gave up talking to Thane.. Was pointless and painful.

I could see Thane wanting to marry again. I know not everyones Shepard would want to , but I have three for Thane and they all would have said yes.

I'm a dude, and besides I'm just getting over life blues, Monday is gonna be a cake walk. Sure I gave my resignation Friday but I'm smart as hell too. See I've told my boss several times, that if I ever do something like say I'm out and walking don't believe it, I'm hotair on that sh!t. They know it too, it's not the first time I've gotten fed up with everything bleh, I'll all hot air.

Nothing much, I'm just rather odd, and bleh trying to get back in here after being in and out with life and stuff, I just popped in randomly and made myself look odd, idk.

I just sometimes pop in here before the weekends with a Picture of Thane I might have found on Tumblr. Usually, They're sexy. So, Sexy Drell.

Plus, Drell are Sexy. Its a given.

thats why they should have done a fan art contest for a female Turian and Drell, like they did Femshep

 Really fellas? REALLY? Take the turian design you have. Shorten the features (fringe , mandibles, height) decide if females have a collar or not, if yes again make it less pronounced.. Get female voice actor. Add flang. BOOM. Done. If you don't want to come up with casual wear for them just have them in armour.

Why is this so hard???? I've seen wonderful and SIMPLE concepts for both female drell and turians. Then again this is the team that brought you stock photo tali.

they was able to make Femshep from people's fan art because can't seem to do it with female Turians and Drells

Its not even a Female Krogan. Eve's head is just a normal Korgan head from what I've heard. The only difference between them is clothing.

And, we do see a Female Salarian. Not much difference. There really doesn't need to be that great of a difference between male and female anyways.

I remember the new Salarian Councillor and the Dalatrass are both female. I don't really see any difference at all either. They just seem to like putting them in burkahs so they don't have to do any real work creating female models.
