I disagree. Why spesifically use the word Pligrimage which has become a keyword in the series so far? And, it would make sense that the Quarians go visit the Drell Homeworld. They're one of the few species that have lost their homes.
Quarian pilgrimage is not associated with a season, it is also about personal growth through contribution than reflection on what they have lost. I'm quite sure it refers to drell pilgrimage, not quarian.

I believe they were talking about the drell doing a pilgrimage to their homeworld.

As for tragic romances, not my thing. I always saw the possibilites for Thane. even if he wasn't cured, I always assumed he would have at least receive a life extension. I just looked to the Quarians and thought if their fragile state of being can be overcome, why couldn't the Drell and Thane? Seems plausible to me... So no; never chose Thane for the "tragic" aspect. Bittersweet (like Alistairs romance arcs can be seen as) I get, but what Thane got.....just no.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting anything in Leviathan in regards to Thane either (I still hope for future DLC though).
But thanks for informing us!
On LI comparisons:
ME:
I've said it before but meh, I'll say it again, I never thought that there was only going to be tragedy for Thane, a possibility? Yes, but not the only outcome for Thane. I didn't fully expect a downright cure but a treatment at least.
On DAO:
For me, Zevran all the way! Although Alistair is adorable too...
For me Zevran is just..."We are ridiculously awesome" - Yep.
And yeah, I'll agree on the "sweet ending" part, with a lil' headcanon magic it's one of the more happy endings for the DAO LI's. That said, there's always that bittersweet element of the "Calling" for the Warden.
As for DA2:
I still haven't played it (Yikes!), but knowing myself, I'll probably choose Fenris.
(Dat voice! I've fangirled Emery's VA since Final Fantasy XII)
But I reserve my final judgement until I've experienced the game first-hand.
From what I've seen from my brother's playthroughs, Anders is also a good character (I'm weak for cats too I admit).
And Merrill...I just find her quirkiness adorable! :3
Isabella is a fun and carefree character, but LI? Idk.
(This comes from someone whos "canon" Warden er... had an...*ehem* interesting meeting below the Siren's deck with Zevran present)

Yes well Thane didn't "get" anything but a disease and his walking papers - straight to the hospital to die. Awesome. At least there was some thought/reason behind Alistair/Zevran/Fenris's "moments".

Just in case anyone's been wondering: There's nothing on Thane in Leviathan, whether you play it before or after the Citadel coup.
Not that I was expecting anything, but some might have.
You just made it easier for me to stick to my plan of not buying any DLC.
No Thane, no game

the gameplay looks good, but IMO the story isn't that great and the Leviathans who apparently started the Reapers and the Starbrat becomes a pointless war asset who doesn't really help you even though they can kill a Reaper or affect the ending at all
and it also tries to push you towards Synthesis more
I had no intentions of buying it (obviously
No surprises that there was no mention of Thane or the other ME2 characters. I'm reluctant to take anything positive from there being new romance dialogue, I think they're just going to concentrate on the fans of their pet LIs and write us off as an acceptable loss. I'll keep hanging around here until I know this for a fact though.

Don't light up mnomaha! I quit around 6 years ago after smoking for around 10 years (it ruled my day). I used the Alan Carr book, its a bit of a lame read but I found that if I did what the book said, it made it much much easier... it actually made it easy, its a mind trick.
stay strong, smoking is not going to make anything better (although your mind will try and tell you that it will:devil:)
edit: I just noticed what you guys did there...
