Speaking of life support, if you have the From Ashes DLC is that, perhaps, where Javik stays? Or is it really completely empty?

I played the "From Ashes" dlc, coz it came with my collector's editon. He nows stays in Grunt's room. He even mentions Thane and his disease... even if it's not much of anything.

still empty, javik stays where grunt was

Thanks.
Gah, when I walked in there I saw the wall area where he displayed his gun collection and just felt like the game was taunting me. It is just strange without Thane there. The Normandy needs his gun collection to complement my fish and model ship collection!

I completely agree, they could have closed off the room or boxed it up
like they did with Jacob's room. The only thing that is missing from Thane's
room is the window that looks out into engine room (the shades are closed) and
his cot is gone. But if anyone can recall, Garrus' cot is missing too now in
ME3.

Don't feel stupid for missing Thane. Alot of us became attach to him. I think
the whole point is to have fun with it, even if it's a pixie. Nothing wrong with it, we all want a good romance. Look at the Liara and Kaiden-mancers... they wanted something more than what ME2 gave them. I believe at this point
it's completely normal.

Not only did my shepard keep visiting the Life Support room but I brought her back to the hospital to end up staring out the window where Thane was originally. That's when I realized I needed to stop playing the game.

Please, my Shep is in there weeping.  ALWAYS.  And I kept going back to that hospital room as well.  :crying:

My shep would wander into life support, gaze at the memorial and lost all motivation. She went into the final battle with less than 3000 EMS and died (although her spirit had been dead for 60% of the game) :(

I hate hate hate, that the way life support is, and the teasers in the tweets leaves me with a tiny flame of hope... I don't want my hopes to be crushed again.

Should we send some more specific tweets to see if we get any more information?

I had almost 7000 war assets (4800 EMS) and after Thane, my Shep did a swan dive to meet him across the sea.  :crying:

I support you claim people!
Thane was my favourite romance in ME2. Now I don't have the heart to import my Shepards who romanced him into ME3, they don't deserve to be forever alone.

I'd buy it.

My Broseph ManShep:  See, I told you getting yourself cloned would be a great idea!
Thane: You were rather unconcerned about the ethical implications.
ManShep: It's ok, cloned you isn't as awesome as real you anyway.
Thane: This is true.  I would've been able to easily disarm Kai Leng had I been there.  Apologies for my absence, but I thought two of me might induce panic.
ManShep: Or it'd get the ladies all hot and bothered.
Thane: That... seems to happen with alarming frequency.
ManShep: Now, then, let's go punch out a Reaper.  You can do that now that you're cured, yeah?
Thane: I believe you're confusing me with a thresher maw, though I agree with the sentiment.  *collarpop*

Haha, see it could work ;)

I could live with Thane's death up to the point where my femshep gets thrown out of the hospital room, door locked !!!, into the hospital corridor. No kiss good bye and i love you. No chance to ask Kolyat if he is going to need her help. Stone cold, cruel...

Yet my femshep's pets survived. Kelly kept the fish safely and the hamster kept itself alive for month in the bottom of the Normandy. I shudder to think what it survived on....might become another biotic wind/god...

And you can buy an automatic feeder and filter for the aquarium, expansive though..

Bioware did listen to that one!?!?!?!?

Maybe i should have kept Thane as a pet. He would still be alive now!!!!!!

Oh, pigeon c**p, i am grabbing another glass of wine now and visit life support and have a good cry on my own, eeeh i mean my femshep will:-(

I have stayed away for a year from anything concerning ME, to not get spoiled for ME3 and there were many occasions where I actually missed Thane. I felt a bit silly, but it's fun too to feel some sort of connection with a fictional character ^_^

*drags self out of life support with empty whiskey bottle*

Greeting drinks are in the war room :?

I agree wholeheartedly.  The fact that no one mentions him after is even more blasphemous.  Garrus asked me about ASHLEY!!  Ugh.  It's like drell never existed in the ME universe.

*trudges back to life support, grabbing new bottle on the way*

This! Remember when in ME1 Tali was the only Quarian you ever saw  (iirc)  and then in ME2 they were everywhere?
I thought in ME3 we were gonna see the same with Drell and some other species. But nope...

Makes me wonder if he ever got his wound treated

Ok people!

BW has released that they are "listening" regarding the endings etc. but will not respond yet as more haven't finished/played the game.

So, I will leave this thread here - united we are probably stronger than separated into each LIs thread!

We also have a Facebook page - see my sig!!

That would have been one thing, but later I saw him "melting" into the table with full pants/shoes/coat on!!  So basically his "armor" set still intact.  What?  They couldn't WAIT to get Kaidan's clothes off!!

No, no don't feel like that. I personally know how someone can start feeling silly that it's just a character. But if you really think about it, how many people have become attach to a character from a movie or book. Look at Twilight for an example. We all need our own escape from reality.

I also find it kinda silly how most outside the Thane romance keeps trying to place realism into the Thane character, especially when the character is based off something fictional.

I guess the endings where Shepard's screwed pretty much no matter what you do is good for something, I guess. Less time to be bitter and grieving about your LI's passing.
