I just finished reading one of the best, most wonderful Thane/Shep fanfics ever. Stumbled upon it today and it took me hours to read but I just couldn't stop.

Lovely video Ren! I think i've already said that before, but I have to say it again.

I let our my usual "Yay, Thane!" when he came on screen.

And you know, I've never gotten that scene with Samara in any of my pts. Though i wasn't actually trying to romance Samara, so that may be why. I've always gotten the "that part of my life has passed" speech.

Okay, so I started another playthough for science with broShep. This is a real challenge for me since I find Meer so monotone...

Anyhoo, I'm checking out the Kaidan/Cortez interactions, and I'm now more than convinced Sam was given to femShep so they could have HLA. I mean, Cortez is a lot more deeper and meaningful, and they actually let him off the ship. And if Sam wasn't for HLA, how come the romance starts with a shower scene and Cortez doesn't start with them rolling around in the Kodiak?

So femShep really got shafted when it came to quality interactions. Kaidan and Garrus do not make up for it, and it really becomes apparent when Sam didn't get any LI specific lines in Levitation yet Cortez did. And I don't buy the BS that it was too expensive to all get the voice actors together.

Hey ladies and gentlemen, feel free to ignore me as I don't  pop in the Thane thread that often, or really at all. But I did have a hand in the Mass Effect 3
romance DLC survey. It was an idea that came out because we adore the
characters and really want to see more of them in future DLC. While, of
course, we would love to have character-centric DLC, it's probably
unrealistic as it would be very profitable. However, a lot of us would
love to at least have more content from the LIs in future DLC, and
that's really all we're asking for. Some people would pay for it. Some
wouldn't. We are not trying to turn Mass Effect 3 into a dating SIM.
That's not the idea. We just wanted to show what we did like about the
romances, what we didn't, what we would like to see in the future, and
what was a big ol' mess. We hope that you'll take the time to give it a
look-see. We have a surprise to add to it once we hit 20,000 hits and
then another once we hit 25,000 hits. 8,000 people participated in this
survey. Don't forget to check out the art that people contributed to
this initiative.

Did you guys see that "our" LI survey had a lot more response than Bioware's own Leviathan survey ? Think they only got 2,000 responses

It's partially because even though most of us didn't romance Thane (and Jacob too), we're all pissed.  And rightfully so.

Wow wish we had an option like that to save our Drell! But I know BioWare won't do that...I just hope they do give us an option to save Thane even if it's not close to shooting Kai Lame in the face...how about in the leg though?!

Yeah I agree I'm sure Ivy would have kicked ass... my femshep who is an Adept would have either warped his ass all the way into Kingdom come!..... Or she would have shot him with her sniper gun...no hesitation whatsoever!
