I would say at least more then nothing! I will nver give up hope, since ME3 isn't at least one month old and I hope there is a lot more to come. If it is not the 1st or 2nd DLC maybe it comes later. In fact tehre are a lot of hints in game and I refuse to accept they should be there for nothing. *crosses fingers* I mean come on guys, they are doing interview Videos for ME2 with Miranda, Grunt, Thane, Jack and Mordin and exept for Mordin there is none of them who has a really big role to play in ME3. Nargh... In fact before the release I worried at least not one second about the role of the old squad. Because I just believed in them...

And I want to say it again, liek a lot of you before: I want an option for saving him. I can totally agree with a download content - 10 dollar arent't the problem here I think. I can even agree that they focuse first on the ending or whatever. Just tell us it's coming and I think all of us can wait. If you totally agree with Thane's death don't buy the content and no one is harmed. We loved him and with all these bioware hints of saying Hanar are doing this and that, throwing the hope to the Thane fans (because of course we absorb information like this and integrate it to our DNA xD) and with all these possibilities of bringing back Shep, making and curing the Genophage it should be possible to let him live at least until the end of ME3. But I say give us the chance to cure him.

Oh god, oh god. I just had a terrible, life altering thought. I was reading some of Louvette's feedback on her dA journal.

What if they release some new dumbas$ DLC character and put them in...*gasp* life support. OMG tell me they would not do that. Please tell me.

Please selfmade things and if you just take yor own screenshots it would be totally ok! I don't want to have any copyright problems with this, even if we are not making any money out of it it would be really sad if there are some problems because of something like that....

i think they've got their hands full of characters right now -- it would be really stupid to introduce *new* character dlc when everyone's already upset with how the characters already in the game were treated

Hate to say it, boils down to Thane and Jacob being the least favourite romances and most likely Bioware felt it was better to focus efforts and production time on other things.

That would have required accurate advertising, as opposed to the advertising they actually did.

How is he the least favorite?
Bioware is just lazy. They made a mistake in giving us so many new squadmates in ME2 so they decide the best thing to do is to just dump them all. Except for Garrus and Tali of course. How could they not see that this was going to be an issue.

Then they give us characters in our squade we really don't need. Did we really need EDI, and even though I did like Vega he wasn't important to the story at all.

Thane was the only male LI I found romancable. I romanced Kaidan in ME1, but ME2 handled VS poorly, so I switched to Thane. Jacobs romance is not popular because it is terrible imho right from the start. Garrus romance is strange to say the least (like being sex buddies with a space creature) so I chose the only character I felt I can relate to.

My hopes were quite high, because BioWare put a lot of effort in his design, advertising and so on. But ME3 gives me the feeling that BioWare calculated, that Thane fanbase is not as big as they were predictig pre-ME2 release and they didn't put much effort into ME3 romances' development.

I think that all ME2 romances need extra material, and effort clearly put into VS and Liara romance. Now it seems that ME2 romances are much less rewarding.

casey hudson says where lissening and you won't hear the last of shepard. I even wonder if their considering the fact the took a character away from mass effect 3 without thinking what could happen instead they just wing it for their own sakes. or maybe their isn't enough fan out there to go a head and start fieling a report. wish they just fix it and did the same in strategy guide. thane is one of my favorite characters from the game and he's death didn't mean anything. I didn't care about the salarian councilor anyway. couldn't someone save he's life. thane could have atleast given the option or he's final word to shepard that he loves the female shepard or will miss if its the make and watch over him. last word give Kalyat the opputunity to reedem he's fathers death and either get revenge on cerberus and joing the fight with shepard as an asset. captain kirrkie doesn't count!!!

All of this!!  I wish there had been a renegade interrupt to punch him.  My Shep started in ME2, so no VS romance, and Kaidan was still hitting on her 3 seconds after Thane died.  So brutal.  Did they want to make sure we didn't miss the romance options?  Because most seemed very in your face.

Ok...very glad Kaidan has been dead in my playthrough since ME1; this kind of comment would get me well past angry and, really, had there been better writing in the game, would the Shepard who faced down the just-woken-from-tank Grunt put up with that sort of self-righteousness? :/ Javik wouldn't be the only one pondering using airlocks to dispose of annoying people!! :/

Hm, I also had a thought about those Thane/Squadmate banters that I posted in Thane's thread. Maybe I should draw all of them in comic form (now that would be a challenge since I come up with new ones frequently)
