I think you hit the nail on the head. They're probably scared off by our ... intensity. lol They seem reluctant to address the ending complaints directly as well because they know if they engage fans there will be a deluge of questions, complaints and input directed at them. Something similar happened to Patrick Weekes and he stopped answering questions. It's easier for them to stay silent, I suppose.
We just have to hope they're listening and taking our feedback into consideration.
I posted this in the Thane thread but I'll link to it here as well. If you haven't already done so, participate in the romance survey: http://social.biowar.../index/10290010
Could be another good way to make our voices heard, regarding the poor treatment of Thane and his romance.
so what happened with patrick weekes exactly? is he the mordin writer?
i know that someone on deviant art linked that author's page where he had stated that the writers forgot thane, "dropped the ball" and all that. when i followed the link, i saw some other posts about thane, and jumped in with my $.02 before i read it all. i was very nice about it, but said how disappointed i was. my post went up, and a minute later i looked again and it was down and i was blocked. then i saw a comment from him, something like "um, no..." [paraphrase - don't discuss thane here]. i don't know if he got a massive influx of comments, or if someone really went too far.
anyway, i don't know if he asked that we not comment before or after i posted, but i felt kinda lousy about it.
