Hey, I thougt it was a waste of time, too. But when the leak happened in November, I made a twitter to protest the Jacob thing, until we thought we had it figured out, that Jacob only found someone else if he was unromanced.

That... turned out not to be true.

So I stopped using it. But now... anything for Thane and Jack and Samara and the other ME2 LI's that people feel strongly about.

It's a good cause, I'm going do some more tweeting later this afternoon. I'm also *LE GASP*, actually working on a piece of art for that book.

I'm not that great at drawing, but I still want to contribute. If it turns out semi-decent I'll be satisfied.

Sorry it looks a bit rough, I had to get it mostly finished this weekend so I didn't have time to spend on perfection

It looks so amazing! It's wonderful to see how the fanbook is coming together. I love it! The painting of Thane is absolutely beautiful.

No promises. I've been in a major cartooning slump with job and vidja games and breakup (edit: BREAKUP THE SEASON, NOT A SOCIAL EVENT).

But damnit, it's worth it to communicate my desire for more Thane... So I spend more time on playthroughs... And draw even less. HERO.

Morning Drell Droolers. Wut....am I the only one droolin'?

Anywho......Last night when I first turned on ME2, I had to get up and take care of my cat who was attacking my foot for want of food. When I came back from the kitchen, the screen had automatically gone into the cinematics (as per usual), but the funny thing was, I'd never actually watched it before. Yeah....go figure! And low and behold, who do I spy....THANE. (yeah, yeah.....you've all been good Thane lovers and watched it before; my bad.....).

That little bit of cinematics though is really telling on just how much they initially put into him. Besides Sheploo, and a brief showing of TIM and Miranda, the only two squaddies they show in that clip are Thane and Grunt. And what LOVELY moves they show him doing........yummmmmm.

Hence, the drool. <sheepish grin>

My Jaine wasn't imported. She's still on the Normandy, contemplating how her actions during Arrival will affect her in the future, and what incarceration will do to her relationship with Thane.

I have thought the very same thing.  If I had/and could play ME on my computer, I would totally make a vid.....probably poorly, but I would try.  Unfortunately, trying to film my TV, with my phone,  while playing my xbox......yeesh.  I was thinking about doing a written side by side comparison....especially since I went back to playing ME2.  I just don't think I have the lady balls to YouTube his me3 crap right now.  In time, in time.

You know, I was sitting her in my pre-coffee catatonia and I had a thought.

Maybe some of these people don't understand the difference between loving someone and being in love with someone. I love a lot of people, I really do, but I am IN LOVE with Thane. Or my FemShep is...maybe both. But the people that didn't romance him might only love him and so that makes him dispensable. In my world, where Shep is in love with him, he is her rock and comfort, her soulmate and her equal. She is in love with him and just can't go on without him.

Sorry, like I said...pre coffee.

I have always RP'ed my f!Shep's as being IN love with Thane. Though I will say that Abel, Castor, Rom, Kane and Will Shepard consider Thane a brother.....I have a brother; don't wanna see him dead. So why would any of my Shep's want Thane dead. However, still believe in choice. Give me RPG choices please!

My Shepards are in love with Thane too.

I don't think bioware knows the difference either. If they did they wouldn't have given us that so-called emotionless death scene.

It's not difficult watching the ME3 Thane stuff at all. I just refuse to accept it as reality: that's not Thane, and that's not my Shepard.
