Also, if we advertise this as much as we can, I'm sure we can get it out there. If all else fails, I guess we could all pitch in a little extra. I'd be willing to donate $20-$30 for the cause. Not like I didn't already spend $70 for the game... might as well even it out.

I don't mind that, but I think we should at least get the other 4 FOR SURE since they were main LIs. Not that Samara doesn't have less importance or anything, but I'm thinking if she turned Shepard down in ME2, they probably won't even think about her as an LI in ME3.

Also, not trying to be a total just ruiner of fun and happiness, but when would we send these? If we send in the same week, people might just be like, "Oh, more cupcakes..." If we do it earlier the ending protesters might get upset that we used the same idea even if its not just completely original on their part (and they might regardless of when we send them). If we send it after their order, they might not pay much attention because they've already gotten some before.
So we will need to make them nice. I do like the color ideas, and like a peachy red or the swirls sound great for Jack.
Maybe we could even ask for foundant decorations, like little chibi things?
Idk. But I don't mind donating to the cause.

Edit: Also maybe if not cupcakes, something else if there are concerns about it being too similar to the Retake cupcake campaign.

I am so happy you are interested in it. xD
I am working on it. I'm currently at 8 pages and trimming down and rewording and such. I should post tomorrow or the day after as I have to get braces on my bottom teeth from a stupid adult tooth that decided to never exist...
Anyways.
I also haven't signed the petition, because I'm trying to think of a good, concise way. So you can pretend it's 87 (that's the last I saw) + 1.
And my boyfriend will sign too. Maybe some others.
EDIT:
This was adorable.
Remember when I said you may have a lot of baked goods headed your way?
Make that 400 cupcakes. Already ordered. Have a good day

OKAY, here is how ChipIn seems to work: You tell them how much money you need (or you can leave the amount blank), and for what cause, and when you need the money by, AND a PayPal account. The money is donated THROUGH ChipIn and goes into the PayPal account, which is then used for whatever fund you're working for. You embed the ChipIn widget in whatever site(s) you want and let them take donations.
Thoughts on this?

I'm also open for literally anything. Just wanna catch their attention. Even if they never fix it and go, "Sorry, it's my game and it's staying that way" I want to know I tried.
And then I'll know not to buy games and hope for anything special for romances. Which is fine for any other game, but not when romances/RPG is part of the promises of the product.

Maybe we should start by seeing if there is more interest in this around other threads for these characters and give people in this thread time to check in on it. Maybe someone familiar with how to go about this type of thing will step up to help with the logistics.
Edit: Also maybe if not cupcakes, something else if there are concerns about it being too similar to the Retake cupcake campaign.
Maybe the bakery could do some other kind of treat?
Or maybe some kind of candy shop?
What else could we try and get made besides cupcakes if we don't wanna cramp the retake people's style...
I'm pretty sure the Miranda thread could cover costs all by themselves...

I really want to let Bioware know, in a way that catches their attention in a positive way, that Thane was more than Mr. Kepr Al Syndrome (Viisi's!) to fans. Edit: and all other neglected characters!
Sounds good.....Visii is awesome goddess, but I was the one who came up with Mr. Kepr Al Syndrome.

And I'd decided to not be so.. well, demented on Twitter but I couldn't help it:

You people are going over board. The fan art book is enough, it's a fantastic idea. But the cupcake thing on top of someone else doing a cupcake thing for ME3? I already thought that the first cupcake thing was an obnoxious troll on the behalf of the fan base.
Please do not do this. It is too embarrassing for this Thane fan girl.
Yeah, the fanbook is nice and I'm good with that. Let's just keep voicing our opinions in a respectful manner and concentrate on some lovely art to send to Bioware.
