Although I tend to be ignored, the one time they answered (about Thane that is) whas when I reported a bogus glitch about Kaidan forgiving you for "cheating" with Thane.

Of one thing I am absolutely certain, no one is to park their belongings or their arse in Life Support. It will burn my backside faster than a swim in boiling oil. I wouldn't even buy it and I don't care if everyone says, "it's the best ever." We had the best ever and he got screwed. I don't care if it were another Drell, if it's not Thane, it does not belong in there on my ship.

If you bother to combat trolls on the Save Thane petition thread, just post this list of why were were dissatisfied and make your exit. Maybe if we post it enough it'll finally get through their skulls:


1) There was no cure, despite CDN mention of Medigel for the lungs, the hanar cure, and Thane's transplant candidacy, mentioned in ME2 and Lair of the Shadow Broker.
2)There was a shameful lack of romantic dialogue.
3) Barely any difference between a friendShep's dialogue and a romanceShep's.
4) Only one, Keprals/VS oriented dialogue with Thane before he died.
5) No shared mission with Thane. The side mission that really should have been his went to... Kasumi??
6) The fight with Kai-Leng was stupid (why was Shep+others just standing there? Why close the distance, Thane, when Leng had a sword?) Also, a bit nonsensical and pointless; Thane dies trying to save the Salarian councilor, an act that can be replaced by several other characters, and that has no real connection or significance to Thane.
7) The death scene was impersonal, the same for both friendShep and a romanceShep's.
8) After he died, no one save Kai-Leng mentioned Thane's name again. No chance for Shepard to mourn or talk about him with others, romanced or not.
9) Every other ME2 LI can be saved or damned by Shepard's actions (or lack thereof) all but Thane. Parity thy name is Absent in ME3.

Fail.

So I got my brother to play Mass Effect after I bought him the game for last Christmas. He adores it and just got the second one. I haven't had the heart to tell him that he's in for an awful conclusion, especially if he goes after someone in ME2. I guess I should probably say something so he's not upset about it later...

I hope you guys don't mind a Turian lover posting on your thread so much but I have been wondering about the Life Support being empty as well. Every other room is occupied in ME3 ,other then the basement where Jack dwelled, and it made me curious as to why and who would be situated there. Honestly when i first played the game I thought Thane would be coming back on board but sadly that is not the case. So the absentness of that room makes me wonder if they are planning to put someone else in there and to that I ask "Why?" Then again they can just as easily put someone where Jack dwelled or maybe they are just keeping the continuity of the ship?

I will kill them if they even try it. Life support belongs to Thane and only Thane. That's like putting a reaper in the main battery. Should not be allowed.

That's not entirely unusual for me, but the bright red... that is for my renegade side coming out after Thane's poor treatment. I will avenge him D:

Although I have a deep love of Thane and great affection for Kaiden, Garrus will always and forever hold a special place in my heart. Jeanette Shepard is a One-Turian kind of girl, and if he were around and interested in me, I would be too.

That said, i have to say that I honestly felt like they WERE going to have Thane as a squate mate. I mean, there was SO much that led up to it! The hints of cures, the fact that he was a super popular character, and then LIFE support! They closed off Grunt's little area of the ship (although I hear that's where the Prothean dude is now), but they left Life Support open? That's just cruel. That's just taunting us.

It almost redeemed itself when I heard the beautiful speech during his last scene (even if Shepard was wierdly detatched and refused to even hold his hand).....and then I found out it plays out almost exactly the same way for people who didn't romance him! And then no mention afterwards, and the recycling of the LotSB letter? I couldn't believe it. Anything I can do to help spread the word or help further the goal of getting justice for ALL the shafted LIs (since I can't help but feel terrible for Jacobmancers), just let me know.

Yeah, this one really bothered me. Kai Leng was obviously a Cerberus agent. When Thane knocked him on the floor, I expected my Shepard, my Shepard's squadmates, and Thane to open fire. sooo much this.  I was reading last night the comic strip someone made to outline the whole of the last ME book that was released (Deception...??? something like that).  Obviously I never read it, and that is one of the books that heavily favors Kai Leng.  I DIED laughing.  It really sounded shoddy, but most importantly, goes to show that maybe bw needs to STOP crossing their media boundries.  Let the books, be the books.  The games, be the games.  Seriously funny; if you get a chance to look at it, I highly recommend it.  I'll see if I can link the post.
