It's the last game in a trilogy, chances are a great majority of people have already played the first two games, or at least ME2, right? As for the PS3 players, they'll never be able to play ME1, which sucks for them. I can't imagine not playing ME1, it sets the tone for the entire series (ME3 fell flat on that). It seemed like they wanted more people to play the games when they made the PS3 move, maybe they should have tried implementing MP then if they were so keen on it.

They should have waited and put the MP on whatever comes after ME3. It wouldn't have been that difficult to just wait.  But that's what happens when dollar signs win over common sense.

Agreed, you did a great job Aislinn! I loved the voice over of Thane and Shep's dialogue throughout the video, it really set a great tone. It's different from the typical Thane/FemShep video, which is what makes it stand out so much. Bioware has recognized your videos before, I remember them posting one Facebook. Your Warrior Angel one, right?

I absolutely LOVE this video, it's perfect.

Along with many others, I played my Thane-Romance Shep first. Having Kaiden around right away gave me hope for my Kaiden shep who was left out in ME2, and then when I ran into Garrus right away I was thinking woot, Garrus shep is going to be so happy to see him.

It made me anticipate catching up to Thane even more. Then wham bam no thank you ma'am, the hospital re-intro. What?!

The fight scene with K-L, I could handle that. I couldn't handle the way my shep just dismissed Thane without any emotional context.

Then the recycled letter, (spits). So my Thane-shep goes the rest of the game simmering in anger and jealousy over the other relationships happening around her and icing on the bitter cake the fact Thane is never mentioned by anyone else but his killer in the end.

Killing that cretin was worth while. The game ending, bah.

Actually, all the ME2 romances were handled poorly. Well, I was satisfied with Jack, I expected less, much less, a side note or something, but it could or should have been more.
On the other hand, the game was severly cut here and there, I completely understand that the development team rather focused on the 'main' romances.

just watched the "art of the mass effect universe" artbook i got just now.
at the ende there is a concept art of the conference room, where the team ist talking about it.
in there are:
thane!, tali, mordin, jack grunt and garrus all together. talking,analysing about a reaper.
and it is ordered into the art of mass effect 3 section

Can someone confirm as well that Kolyat turns up for the last scene even if you screwed up Thane's loyalty mission? I heard he does if you just don't do the mission at all, but IDK about if you actively stand there and let Kolyat become a wanted man on the Citadel.

So one of my co-workers just got to the part where Thane dies, and agrees that his death was messed up. Even though he hadn't even romanced Thane, he thought it was wrong.
