I ran into Conrad on the Citadel last night. I cried. He may have been an idiot, but he died a real hero. He took the bullet meant for Shepard.

Uh, he didn't die for me. Someone I forgot about from the first game sabotaged the gun, so he lived

I'm guessing you didn't do Jenna's sidequest in ME1?

ETA: She's the woman working undercover for C-Sec at Chora's Den. She'll disable the guy's gun. Conrad lives and it looks like those two hit it off.

This character is from my first playthrough of both ME1 and ME2. No Stratergie Guides. No metagaming. No forums. No walkthroughs. All the mistakes. No. I guess I didn't do Jenna's quest. I found it in subsequent plays. So I'm guessing this Shepard is going to have one of the worst outcomes for ME3. Ah, this is going to be fun. Nothing like getting the bleakest ending over with.

No wait, I did one worse.... intentionally....Sh*t... I gave Cerberus David in Overlord in that one. Looks like I've got a lot of multiplayer to do.

Oh god he can actually die there? I started laughing when he was like "Did I help?" Cause I was expecting Shepard to say "Conrad, the shot missed."

Hmmm at what point do you run into him? Between what Priority quests? Cause my renegade didn't run into him... course, I shot him in the foot last time sooooo LOL. But my paragon helped him "solve the case" so she should run into him (and I helped Jenna too, in fact I think I saw her (or Rita lol since they are twins) wasn't able to talk to her but I saw her, or at least an NPC that looked just like her in I think Purgatory.

He didn't die for me, but he did show up out of nowhere at the end of a quest, think it was bugged.

I hate to break it to you, but there's no 'worst' outcome for ME3.  Your choices before the end have some influence on your readiness rating, but that's it.  They have no bearing outside that number on the results of the endings you can choose from, and the readiness rating doesn't have THAT big an impact in the end.

For Conrad to live in ME3, you have to make sure he lived through ME1 and ME2 to make it all the way to ME3, AND you have to have completed the Wards assignment in ME1 involving Jenna going undercover for C-Sec.

You can talk to her sister and Chellick about it.

I think it's connected to the quest in the Citadel docks where you fix med-gel dispensers? After the Cerberus attack?

And like Kelly Chambers, Conrad Verner is one of the character you try so hard to save his life in Mass Effect for the reward to get killed at the end by the Reapers on the Citadel. So great.

Actually Kelly can survive if you take the renegade option and tell her to CHange her Identity. Then when Ceberus asks her name, she lies. Hence she lives.    Now, Conrad probably doesn't have such an option. Poor Conrad.

Yes, i know and i do this but what's the point to save her from Cerberus if few days or week later she get killed by the Reapers when they hit the Citadel ? ME1 and 2 was about "if you do the right thing, bad or good you have your reward". There is not, no matter what they die in a useless way.

Apparently you can only find Kelly if you flirted enough that you had dinner and she offered to feed the fish. Says the Mass Effect wiki anywho.

Well, Kelly and Dr. Chakwas ended up as Reaper goo in the ME2 play through I'm using so no Kelly here either. But at least Conrad's life had a purpose.

"Shepard! There's my Cerberus contact!" Dives in front of Shepard. Lays there in Shep's arms bleeding ...."Shepard? Did I help?"
"Yes, Conrad. You helped." dies...... sad......

Chakwas always survives doesn't she? Unless you didn't give her an escort. Then she dies.
