I was really disappointed with the ending, as much as all of you -- so I decided to end my Shepard's story myself. I'm going to share it with all of you.

I worked pretty hard on this video and just want to say, I cried watching my own video lol:crying:. I was really invested in the story and it tore me apart to edit this ending but I find it fitting and more absolute than the game's.

Please tell me how you feel, I tried to be as artistic as possible but this is my first ''cinematic'' video.
Thanks.

Excellent, now do 5 variations on this (at least one where Shep doesn't kick the bucket) and we'd have the endings I expected for the most part.

Haha, not entirely sure I'd be able to. Maybe on more playthroughs I'd get the insight to do that, but I've always been Paragon on my main character.

Ooops, not you - Bioware.

Lol I wanted to include more jack in the end, hell -- I wanted to put everyone in there, but I had serious limitations on time and song length.

Brought a manly tear to my eye, which is more than I can say about what we have now, which just makes me want to punch a wall.

I coulda lived with this...yes I don't see how this idea of Mass Relay destruction giving us freedom from Reapers...if they were destroyed like in this video it gives us the same thing without losing such valuable tech

And produce the damn DLC with this ending for free. After paying him for the creation!

A true bittersweet ending. Good job, and as hard as it is to brain-bleach Bioware's ending... yours might have helped immensely.

Seriously though. When Anderson slumped over, I was on the verge of big, fat, man-tears. Then Hackett dropped an atom bomb on the story.

Your ending, had Bioware used the concept, would have been hailed as the best ending of a video-game trilogy ever.

Wow... This.

This is beautifully well done, you made something so much better than what we were given, I'm going to keep this and just consider it the conclusion for the rest of eternity.
Great work.

I didn't really like it, it explains nothing.

Another to lessen the suck factor is to change what grandad is saying to his kid. Make it joker's voice telling the kid what everybody did after the war, sheppeard died, but Tali or whoever had his Son, garrus became a celibate monk giving out flowers in spaceports, stuff like that...

exactly my thoughts, right after the Anderson dies, they should just have shown reapers being destroyed. God child is absolutely pointless plot device. And if they wanted to present us choices, there was the ILM and Shepard could just agree with him, no need for "a deus ex machina".

Damn this would be really a good ending for a sacrifice ending. Actually this is what I was hoping for when they sat there. But noooo

If that was an ending to the trilogy i would be alright with that. it's emotional enough to be sad but not "over-the-line" type of sad, which is good; but most importantly it makes you feel the need to go back and experience the game again.

With Bioware touching that up and maybe adding a bit more depth to it, i could actually see that working pretty well, good job :)
