I wouldn't mind if this was the only ending, at least compared to what we got. No explanation is better than a nonsensical one.

With Bioware touching that up and maybe adding a bit more depth to it, i could actually see that working pretty well, good job
Yeah, an epilogue would be nice, but sometimes it's not needed and for me it really isn't. At the end of the day it's not really necessary to know everything there is to know about a universe -- sometimes just the experience of feeling like you were a part of it and had an impact on it is all we need. Infact - sometimes understanding everything can make the experience feel small and so I'd personally prefer walking away not knowing everything.

to the top, you go. if you can do this with the limited amount of resources you have then certainly bioware can make this right.

It's insane to me how much more satisfying, emotional and elegant your ending is compared to Bioware's. Kudos to you, sir.

Add and epilogue of some sort, such as a glimpse at a report by that chick hanging out in Zaeed's place, to flesh out the conclusions of the varrious story lines, and BAM! We have an appropriate and fulfilling conclusion to the series.
And the editor of this movie didn't even need to create anything that Bioware didn't already have, and provide to us!

Wow, this was a masterpiece! And i say that with no scarcasm whatsoever, honestly. Its shameful for Bioware when one person editing clips together can come up with an ending that is so much better than their entire team came up with. This is an ending I could live with, even dying, though I would prefer to live my happily ever after with my LI. Even the Stargazer bit after the credits would be more tolerable with an ending like this.

I think we all can agree that the game should've ended when Anderson dies.

Really well done, I loved this. Simple, poignant and it illustrates him providing the noble sacrifice that is so in keeping with Shepards character. I have no idea why Bioware couldn't provide something like this, it provides closure, hope and doesn't mess with the continuity of the genre in the future.
Anyway, my hats off to you for putting this togther. =)

That was really good man, nice... No Excellent job there.
Just one thing make it my Sheps face and instead of Ashley make it Tali
But seriously astounding work made it better than the others even with Shep dying.

Just wanted to update, a lot of people are asking that I consider doing multiple endings -- like a femshep one, or a renegade one. I am considering doing it, but if you guys really want to inspire me to do these (because I'd have to do playthroughs to really 'feel' the endings) -- I'd appreciate if you share with all your friends that may find my ending more appropriate to them. If there is a huge demand, I will definitely aim to please you guys. Thanks for the support though so far, it really has been awesome.

Love it. I would have loved this idea applied to my FemShep with a Kaidan voice over. It's gorgeous, and lessens the salt-in-the-wound feeling of the actual ending. Well done.

Absolutely loved it! I would have got up feeling like I had really accomplished something! (And NG+ have Shepard breath in the rubble, even better!). Great voice over work, I want everyone who feels bad over this game ending to see this! Bioware, you should take a note from this person!!!

That would have been a great ending if only your shep could be replaced by mine. As it stands now this series had no point everything Sheo fought for is dead, dying, or gone.

Of the three fan made endings I've seen, every one of them cut out the star child, the relay explosions, and the Normandy fleeing. And every one was better than what we got.
There is seriously something wrong when deleting three scenes makes more sense.

Natasha Shepard snarled under her breath, throwing every shred of will, every ounce of the power that made her the shield, the leader of her friends, her people, her galaxy – and moved The Illusive Man’s control just enough to miss the shot that would have killed Anderson. The Illusive Man was too caught up in his fury to even notice.
“And who will you listen to Shepard? An old solider, stuck in his ways?” He continued a fanatic glint in his eyes. “And what if he’s wrong? What if controlling the Reapers is the answer?”
-normal dialogue here in which Shepard convinces The Illusive Man to pull a Saren; Anderson and Shepard are now freed of The Illusive Man’s control. Anderson is hurt but alive (he’s got a steel vest for god’s sake and it looked like Shepard shot in the stomach) –
Sasha leaned heavily on Anderson. Everything hurt so god-damned bad… The Crucible was in place. Was this nightmare… over yet?
“Hang on Shepard. You hang in there.” Anderson said. Sasha grimaced when she attempted to grin.
“I-I think… I’ll survive.” Sasha replied, sounding heavily winded. She pressed a hand to her side to stop the bleeding. “Just glad… you didn’t… pull your gun. Might not… have made it then.”
“You did good child. You did good. I’m proud of you.” Anderson said as he carefully set her down, grimacing as something brushed his own wound.
“Shepard. Commander!” It was Hackett’s voice. “Something’s wrong! Nothing’s happening!”
“What… do you need me to do?” Sasha said. She tried to get up but Anderson stopped her.
-Citadel opens obviously, the panel beneath Shepard starts to move-
“Shepard!” Anderson shouted as the panel beneath her began to rise into the air. Sasha staggered and collapsed heavily.
“Get… out of here Anderson. You’ve earned… a break. I’ll take care of the rest.” Shepard said loudly, wincing as the pain returned full force.
- Scene with Space Child explaining the whole cycle thing, normal dialogue responses (the whole exchange here doesn’t make sense but I can’t think of anything to fix it) then the kid explains the three
choices–
“No.” Sasha said. “None of these choices are the right ones.”
“You have no other options.” The Catalyst said.
“And who… gave you the right to decide? Who… gave you the right to wipe us all out
because we… create synthetics?” Sasha demanded, standing firm. She tried to
stand taller even though she was losing so much blood. “Who… decided the relays
can’t exist?”
“It is the only way to prevent chaos. These are your only solutions.”
“I don’t… believe that. You said it yourself – there is hope for a future because I am standing here. And the only…. the only…” Sasha coughed hard and then continued on, “The only reason I am is because every… race in this galaxy supports me. Even the synthetics, even the geth. Don’t you think we deserve… at least a chance? A chance… to decide… our own future?”
“The harmony will not last.”
“Then we will… make it last ourselves without someone… deciding for us. Your solution has failed… your new solutions are not better – they would leave hundreds to die trapped…. in this system. This is not order… it’s genocide.”
- At this point the Catalyst should be able to present a fourth option, given the fact it’s some kind of all powerful space child, that would destroy the Citadel, itself and the reapers but leave the mass relays unharmed. Shepard would be able to die or not die given the amount of war assests collected and of course, epilogue in which it explained what happened afterwards -
Here's another Paragon Ending!

Lol nice, except the child scene and the ''illusion'' of choice really shouldn't be there to begin with IMO. The ''choice'' in a sense should be made for you depending on how you played your game. No choice you ever make in the last act should have ruling power over your game ending.

This would be perfect for a sacrifice ending. It would be absolutely golden if each of Shepard's crew is given a chance to reflect on their time with him/her and come to wish the commander their final farewells. It would have so much more impact then the "official" endings. Bravo Zulu to you Any0Day
