In all three, the Relays are destroyed.
In all three the explosion of energy damages the escaping Normandy, presumably does this to every spacecraft flying in the universe.
In all three, your squadmates are stranded alone on a planet with no info on what happens to them.
In all three, all the choices you make are for naught.
No visible or narrative effect, just a number calculation telling you which color ending is available.
I had to pause the game on Earth to eat dinner with the wife. Spent the time telling her how amazing the narrative was, how moving the consequences of your choice were.
Until the ending, and now all my recommendations for the series are recinded.
When the writers proposed this ending, someone with authority needed to choose the interrupt, they could have maxed out their Paragon in one desision.

Troll: What... is your quest?
Shepard: To destroy the Reapers.
Troll: What... is the color of the endgame content?

If the relays were destroyed and everyone was stranded I could accept that. But the fact that for some odd reason my crew and ship teleported away from the battle they were just fighting to take a joy ride in Mass Space while earth was falling is totally retarded.

If you pick green, the light turns green AND you get a techno-overlay on all living things! It's superrrrrrr different!

This is both funny and depressing with how accurately it describes the ending.Sledge454 wrote...

Red- destroy
Green - merge
Amazing BW - how can the game be great, but the ending suck so much. It's like the ending was made as an aprils joke, a bad joke.
