I got it working by reinstalling w7. And that is not a fix. Bying a game and then having to reinstall everything to play. Kinda pisses me off

The use of "fix" and "solution" was an attempt to make myself feel better about the whole thing. Didn't work.

Guys, i'm having the same troubles you had.
The only thing is that my version of the game is digital, so, no physical disk and my internet connection is ****, I only have 1Mbit so I want another way to make it work because i don't want to download the game again because it will take a lot of time.
Any suggestion?
PD: sorry if my english is terrible, is no my native language.

I'm having the same error, or rather, the same error, but without any chonese characters. Error message is:
"Invalid license. Reason code = Missing DLL d3dx9_42.dll Error: 0x000000c1"
I installed windows 2 days ago (new computer). Tried repairing the game from the origin window, but it didn't help.
Anybody found a solution yet (that doesn't include reinstalling windows) ?
