Exactly what the title says.

I try to register my xbox 360 copy through the link on this page

and I get this message

 Your ownership of Mass Effect 3 was not detected. You are most likely logged in to the BioWare Social Network with a different account than the one you are using to play Mass Effect 3. Go to Your Registered Game Content page for more troubleshooting instructions. 

so I click the link.

And I have no clue at all what I'm doing.

me too. note -I have just bought the game and haven't started playing it yet and when I do play it my X360 will not be connected to the internet

This pretty bad...I mean, honestly, it's completely and totally unprofessional and a mess...They basically send you through "help" links that lead you in a circle.

How many times do they have to keep telling you that the forums are intended for social purposes, and promotion, nothing here is supposed to be official help.  ALL of that is on the EA Help pages.  Here, it's gamer to gamer with rare, unpredictable appearances from folks like Jesse Reid.

I have the same problem, Xbox 360 version. I don't think it would work for me if I had other versions though, considering I get the same message when I try to register a PS3 copy or PC copy.

I don't think it's an internet browser thing, since it works on neither Firefox nor Internet Explorer.

I just tried to register my copy of ME3 on here and I got the same message saying my ownership has not been detected. I tried using the help information but it's a horridly written wall of text that just leads you in circles, so I gave up. Are EAware even aware of this? It's hilariously bad.

Hey guys, as Gorath Alpha mentioned for a lot of these issues we can only point you in the right direction and that direction is almost always EA technical support. If we have time we can try to help you as best we can.

What usually happens in the issue we're talking about in this thread is that you create an account here on BSN or through another EA service using your current email address. The double account comes from previous titles, for me I think it was NHL 98, where an EA account is auto-created when you played the game using your gamertag's email address.

If this happens you will have two EA accounts. Both will be able to log into the BSN or any other EA service. The only way to fix it is to either ask EA technical support to merge your two accounts or to get them to transfer your persona.

Jesse.Reid , i have that exact problem but it happened so long ago that i cannot remember my password,i tried gettng my GamerTag to link to this account but was unsuscessful, is there anyway you could help me or poit me in the right direction so i could register my CE Me3 to get the soundtrack? ? cheers

I've also had this problem and won't let me register my 306 copy, though for some reason it says that i have ME3 for PC.

I also have this problem, yet it tells me I own it for PC while I have it on PS3. Problems like this make me really hate the whole account system that is the trend nowadays with games, you can't even play the game without an account, making things harder for those who actually buy the game for the sake of preventing piracy. Gone are the days when you could buy a game and get go from the beginning. Batman Arkham City doesn't even let you play without an account, such a joke.

My problem is I am an offline X360 owner. As I am playing offline I am not using an account to play Mass Effect 3.
Are only people playing online allowed to register?
(Note I am playing in a location with no internet connection so connecting is not an option)

If someone has technical problems preventing them from starting to play or playing online they should be allowed to post on the technical help boards
Only the multiplayer board should be restricted to people playing online

Same thing is happening to me. Use my Origin login on XBox, but on social.bioware.com I can't register, it only detects the Reckoner-Knight armour I got from that other demo.
