Also, for the galaxy map issue. If you don't want to play multiplayer you can use the iOS game to increase your readiness rating. It will take a bit longer than playing multiplayer would but it still works.

of course this is dependent on your X360 being in  a location with an interenet connection.
Mine isn't (an hour or so by bus from where I am now) so I won't be able to register
... which probably means the only ME3 forum I will be able to post in is the general -no spoilers.

I say that people who own the game but are unable to register their game under current restrictions should be allowed to post on a spoiler forum and the technical help forum 

I personally think that since all of us shelled out big $$$ for the game like anyone else, we should get ALL the same privleges whether we play online or not. We couldnt even post this thread in ME3 Tech Support where it belonged because of the restrictions.
Mass Effect 2 has a UPC registration system that is STILL IN EFFECT. Why cant they do this for ME3?
The Bioware Social Network is part of the WHOLE EXPERIENCE. Does being an offline player make us any less devoted to the series? No! Were just as passionate about these games as the players with online access. Let us participate too!

I just got off the chat to EA about my registration. The best they could do was give me a new online pass, but that didn't work. The weird thing is, on the XBox I connect to the EA servers just fine, so I don't know why my gamertag isn't linked already. Guess I won't be registering.

Huh... thats odd. Have you tried downloading one of the NEWER online access demos like Fight Night Champion? [Then go into the Main Menu and click on Sign In to EA].
Thats what several EA chat reps told me to do. I havent had the chance since Im traveling right now. But I know they kept stressing to download a NEWER demo... not sure if this has any bearing.

HopelessPirate are you not able to connect online even once? You wouldn't need to always play online, just once so that the required fields are written to your account.

Funny you should mention this, I actually tried this with that demo but EA have shut down their online support for this title. I kind of gave up after that.

Yes, I do have a good Internet Connection available. And Im really glad Bioware included the two-day free Xbox LIVE Gold Membership pass. I'll be able to connect and link my accounts and register my copy of ME3.  

But I have several friends and I see some players here also, that live in areas where an Internet Connection is not available. I understand that Bioware cant cater to everyone, and Ill be the first to admit that Ive never seen a company cater to their fanbase as much as Bioware has, and still does.
 
I guess I just wish they could have either implemented a UPC registration system or made the ME3 forums accessible to everyone. Its just alot of hoops to jump through for some of us. We just want to play with the other kids. Lol

Ive got two more weeks before I can even try to link my accounts or even play ME3 again. >.<
Withdrawal is killing me. Once I have my Xbox back, Im sure Ill stop obsessing over this thread and disappear. Lol

Wow EA, you guys sure are batting a 1000 as far as pleasing your customers, character face imports, rushing Bioware to make an ending that would require DLC to truly finish and finally not allowing me or my mates here to post on our favorite games forums when I clearly have my receipt for both ME3 and your damn day one DLC which I bought because of how much I love Bioware. EA ban me for sayong this if you like because it wont mater anyway I cant even post on the forums I want, but you guys are jerks, plain and simple and as someone who busts my ass working at a grocery store (im only 18) to be able to afford games and dlc I have to say that this small issue this little bitty forum issue has pushed me over the edge as to what I can tolerate from you. Bioware sorry but as long as you are funded by EA and put their logo anywhere near your games i'm through as customer with you. Thanks to all the good fans on here who are good decent people and thanks to the good folks at Bioware you guys rock and to EA one day you'll get yours for screwing over all these people with your crappy services and cheap money grab antics. I really don't know if I can be bothered anymore, because I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to even be interested in playing ME3 (halfway through 3rd playthrough and I'm losing interest fast). Maybe I'll try on the weekend.

Hello! In order to register your copy of ME3, your PSN account must link with your EA/Bioware account. When you connect to PSN, it should do this automatically, but for many, it hasnt.
The quickest way for you to be able to link these two accounts (and register your copy) is to contact EA via CHAT.

Go to help.ea.com and click on [Talk to a Game Advisor]. A game advisor may be able to take your information and link these accounts for you. The longest Ive had to wait to talk to an advisor was 4 minutes. This is by far the quickest way to get it done.

I'm having the exact same issue. ME2 seemed to register fine for the 360 with this account, but ME3 just doesn't want to. I've tried downloading one of those demo's but that doesn't seem to have done anything. I honestly don't know what else to do.
*EDIT* For some reason I can ONLY register ME3 for the PS3 even though I own it for the 360. My 360 Gamertag doesn't seem to want to link itself with this account.

In order to register ME3, you need to "link" your EA/Bioware account with your Gamertag/PSN.
Usually, when you play ME3, it will do this automatically. But for many, it has not.

The best thing you could do it to contact EA via CHAT on their help site, help.ea.com .
Dont email them. It takes forever. I can usually connect to a Chat Game Advisor in 3 minutes.
Theyll ask for your EA and Gamertag/PSN information, and usually they can link these accounts for you.
