The ending and knowing I'll never love Mass Effect again.

On Earth, talking to my squad, and having Tali say "I just want more time, damn it." while choked with tears. That'll probably cause me to start to tear up every time I think of it for quite a while.

Mordin's sacrifice on Tuchanka. Couldn't believe how hard that hit me.

The talk between Shepard and Garrus before the final level, the whole "There's no Shepard without Vakarian" and "If I'm in that bar and you're not, I'll be watching over you. I've always got your back." I had a bad feeling Shep wasn't coming back, and this nearly made me cry.

The evolution between Garrus and Shepard from ME1 to ME3 is just amazing... A lawful bind made of respect and friendship. Awesome <3

I've never been a die hard fan of Liara, but the moment when she shares that Asari bond with Shepard before the final push was so touching it made me regret all the times I never valued her as a companion. The way she looped her arm through Shepard's and just rested her head on her shoulder as if all the death and pain and tragedy were forgotten and in that single moment all was right in the world really got to me.

The ending (chose the Synthesis one, although I hear the rest are almost the same).
I literally cried my eyes out...

Also Mordin's and Miranda's death were sad. I especially felt sad for Miranda, because earlier in the CItadel I told her "we can't happen" and made her cry.

Thane and Legion were sad moments as well.

Like most of us, the ending (notice I don't use the plural form) is an absolute letdown.

But as far as everything else, Mordin's death was saddest to me. I liked it, as it actually made sense, but I still cried like a baby.

Also, while I romanced Tali and saw that she and Garrus survived in the Normandy's crash, the thought that she can commit suicide by choosing the Geth... that would throw me over the edge. I won't even watch it on Youtube with someone else's game.

Odd but for me it was Leira's Gift. Went from 99% sure that this is the end to 99.9% sure that this is my (Sheps) end.

This. So much. I never cared much for her, at times I even disliked her, but this moment made me fall in love with her.

Apart from that, Legion's death really got to me. It was wonderfully emotional. Especially with the fact that he said "I" instead of "we", that he called Tali "Tali" and that his last words were "Keelah Selai".

Godammit, I'm crying again.

For now I'm ignoring the ending, it's just a disappointment. I'm not sure about saddest moment because all the deaths in the game were handled beautifully, when Thane, Mordin, and Legion died, they all died heroes deaths. They died with honor and dignity, went down fighting until the last. I looked online and found Tali's suicide and that hurt to see, her pain, and you can understand why she would do it, but luckily in my play through that didn't happen.

If I consider what moment sticks with me the most with those characters, it would be with Mordin. "Had to be me." "Someone else might have gotten it wrong"

This conversation is so much more heartbreaking if you romance Garrus. They talk about adopting little Krogans...

If we're talking about actual emotional moments, I'd say ... well, for the sake of originality: every time a new name appears on the Normandy memorial wall.

Definitely when Hackett told Shepard that nothing was happening, and Shepard drags herself to the console.

What do you need me to do...?

Legion or Mordin. Both were... Perfect.

Thane was also good, I never really liked the character, but Thane really shined in ME3.

Anderson's death got to me. But Mordin's and Thane also were heat breaking. ME3 really had some very sad moments in it.

1. Endings.
2. Tali's suicide (couldn't choose that path myself, but saw vids on Youtube), Legion's "Does...this...unit...have...".
3. Mordin's death.
4. Having to create a new face for ME1-ME2 character.

Also, the last conversation between Kaidan and my Femshep (in a romance), where they're both choking up and trying not to... God, that killed me.
