Odd but for me it was Leira's Gift. Went from 99% sure that this is the end to 99.9% sure that this is my (Sheps) end.

Reading this post made me cry again... That was a powerful moment.

Shepard's death. Before I realised there was no happy endings, it was the saddest scene in all the game, beautiful almost, but now, finding out there is no happy ending, all the ending are pratically the same, it just makes me sad for all the wrong reasons.

Mordin's death, hands down. If Grunt had died, he would've been a close second. Hell, just watching him fight and push that ravager over the edge puts him at least in third for saddest moment.

Aside from ending (That make me sad because it S_CK!!!)

This should be the most saddest part... if they didn't cut it out and make it only 10 seconds in the original game.

All my manly tears for Legions death and the tragic in him being hinted to be the first geth that picked up a weapon.

not everyone has this, but if you side with the geth and can't talk the fleet down, tali commits suicide. i didn't have this on my playthrough; watched it on youtube and damn, that was heavy. watching their fleet, hell, their entire race, getting wiped out, crumbling back down to the planet surface. you see the giant flotilla getting blown to peices. and hearing tali crying. uuugh. saddest moment in the entire franchise for me. mordin's death was rough too but the quarians getting wiped out is, for me, the saddest thing i've ever seen. i cried like a little girl.

get your tissues ready

Finding out the truth about Tali's picture....that really bummed me out.

I'd have to say that Mordin's death scene really made me sad face. The way he was humming/singing to himself got to me.

1.) Definitely Mordin. His little limericks/nursery rhymes he sings really got to me. I had intended to play the entire ME3 game over to see if I could save him somehow (not sure now due to the ending).

2.) Thane's death. I read somewhere you could save him too, but I don't see how.

3.) The Tali/Legion mission ending. I had the "perfect" ending, where the Reaper code is given to the Geth but I'm able to talk down the Quarian fleet, so everyone survives and starts to live in harmony. But.. Legion dying and talking to Tali about where her house would be got to me. This wasn't so much of a bad scene until after the game ending, when I realized that I wouldn't be able to build her that house.

4.) The final goodbyes.
-Liara's scene is pretty sad, it hollowed me out and made me realize that I wouldn't be coming back to make blue babies with her. Throwing around the "I love you"s was pretty heartbreaking, made me think about how I would do the same thing to my wife if I didn't know if I was coming back and how much it would hurt me to do it.
-Garrus' dialog made me wish I could have brought him along more. Out of all the characters, his dialog indicates that he's the one who is going to have your back all the time, no matter what. Unfortunately, I play the same type of character as he is, so it doesn't make sense to bring him. Still, though, the dialog about the bar got to me.
-Pretty much everyone else talking about love, honor, etc. Jacob telling me how his women wants to name their child after me.

5.) This is the last game of Shepard's storyline.

Game Ending aside, Mass Effect 3 has made me feel more emotion in 3 days then I have in years. There were moments of pure happiness and laughter, moments of anger and hatred. (I swear to god when thane died I wanted nothing more then to see every cerberus member burn. Or when that quarian admiral attacked us while we were still on the geth dreadnaught. I played paragon and that was one of the few renegade options I choose. I just couldn't hold back.)

I think the first time i had to fight tears back.. was listening to cortez talk about his husband who he lost on Ferris Fields.. that was one hell of a voice acting monologue.. so deep and sincere.. I was touched..

Then there was Mordin.. Grunts heroic 'death'... and then thane.. thane was the tipping point i was actually streaming here. Last time I streamed tears was when my friend died in an accident. Really brought some memories back..

Finally at the forward command center of the 'hammer'... saying goodbyes to your squad mates.. and Liara. Was really touching stuff.. god thinking about it is making me sad..

FUUUUU BIOWARE I don't like feeling so sensitive!

another sad moment was at the temple in thessia, cerberus took the data and won, shep looks outside seeing the planet being overrun. then radio chatter asking desperately if shep has completed his objective, making their sacrafice worth something and then it cuts off.

after this and thanes death i meleed as many cerberus pawns i could get my hands on..

all the other things mentioned but yeah i havent been that vowing vengeance in a game for so long as for the thessia mission i went postal on the cerberus minions in melee after that.. thanes death got me the most. mordins a close second. happy tears mixed with sad ones at the quarians and geth finally getting working together on their homeworld..

haha not to mention my paragon femshep who loves the quarians punching a quarian admiral for trying to kill us  that threw me to be honest i havent had a such an emotional game outburst like that

Mordin's death made me shed some manly-tears, I also saluted my monitor if I recall. Legion and Thane's deaths didn't have the same impact on me, but they were very touching. :/

The ending hurt deep. The combination of seeing the Shepard who's face I molded in ME1 disintegrate. His last moments, knowing he'll never reunite with his crew, and the one he fought for, Liara. The destruction of the relays made everything instantly claustrophobic for me, the ME universe was destroyed. After the credits, I listened to the soundtrack while looking up stuff here on BSN, then An End, Once and For All started playing, and I began sobbing uncontrollably for a while. ;~;

The ending. But not in the way BW intended to. I was sad to see such a good game failing that hard in the end.

Other than that, I must say it was the legion sacrifice who made me the most sad. The fact he was truly... human in the end, speaking as "I" instead of "we", and tali saying he have a soul... etc. This and mordin. I can't really decide.
I never really loved Thane, so I was sad, but not that much.
Anderson death was sad, expected, but sad anyway. But then comes the end, and the frustration blew the sadness away.
Oh, I almost forget, the kid at the beginning, and the world burning, with the sad music. That was really intense.

Tali's suicide. By a total accident I blindly went down that path, thinking I'd be able to call off the quarian fleet. I lost Tali, Legion and killed an entire race in one fell swoop. I actually had to take a break from the game after that.

The ending just made me feel numb.

My saddest moments in the game where whenever my M-76 Reverent's overheat alarm went off, signalling the end to my favorite weapon's cathartic rumble of death. At least until I found more thermal clips, that is.

Thane's death was touching, but not sad, because he died happy, with his son, and that prayer book scene was beautiful. Seeing Mordin keep up a cheerful attitude and sing knowing he was going to die saddened me. That death I will always respect. I didn't see Tali's suicide on my first playthrough, but I get the suspicion my renegade male Shep would have if I felt like playing again, and... I don't wanna see that. Legion, I missed the I bit until Tali mentioned it afterwards, and then I felt bad. I will miss that robot. So for me... Mordin. The man's a damn hero.
