As for me? I'm not letting a retarded ending ruin the other 99% of the game that is brilliant.

Maybe, just maybe people like the other aspects of the game, and maybe just maybe they are hoping that something might be done to "fix" the part they don't like.

I've been playing ME2 as well... I tried to do the NG+ just for the supposed secret ending, but I've decided I really don't want to drag myself through that until it is confirmed.

I can't bring myself to play it again. What's worse is this has entirely destroyed my desire to go back and play ME1 and 2.

On the bright side, multiplayer is fun...

I don't know if I can replay any of the Mass Effect games now. Which is incredibly sad, since they were easily my favorite games of this generation and maybe my favorite series of all time... but then ten minutes manages to taint all of it.

I did try to replay ME3, but now it feels so melancholy and inconsequential to go through it again that I don't think I can.

I got Mass Effect as a late Christmas present on New Years day 2010. Between then and the release of Mass Effect 2, I played in 8 times. I got Mass Effect 2 on release day. In total, I have about 1600 hours of play time between the first two games. I really expected ME3 to last me for months, if not years, and right up until the final conversation with the Ghost Child, I spent every moment in the game thinking about how much better it was than anything I had imagined.

Then... Yeah. I've tried about five times to start a new game plus. The furthest I've ever gotten is the Accept Import screen. Can't talk myself into multiplayer, can't talk myself into ME2.

Crushed doesn't even begin to cover it.

Finished Mars with Liara romance this time and I just couldn't after pretending the star kid never happened. It's engraved on my brain.

I tried doing new game plus. exited the game at the point where you start escaping earth. tried importing my other shepards. stared at the list for about half an hour. logged out. the only thing I was able to do was load up saves before my favorite scenes and just watch them.

I can't make myself do it. I couldn't even bring myself to finish my perfect ME2 save so I could import it. The knowledge that all the choices I make are meaningless kill it for me.

nope can't bear it. That ai kid or catalyst so called god kid is like a nightmare to me. it fried my brain and everytime I look at the ME trilogy here I feel sick to even think of it. They were so close to make it the most awesome game and they screwed it up at the end...

This will be the day of infamy for me, first game that I have played that felt almost killing me. I started to play games when the first nintendo was out and never felt this bad after a playing a bad game...

Clicked NG+ realized it didn't matter, quit game, wish I had something to drink.

I haven't even gotten through 1 ME3 run yet. Helping Tali... EMS is almost to 3000.... toy with my quarin infiltrator in MP.....

I've got a folder full of ME2 saves that I was going to run through ME3 after running through my 5 year long soldier through.

I think I'll just delete them all now. I get a lump in my throat even thinking about playing through the game again.
