For me, the only thing I'd want to see through another playthrough would be to talk to Thane, Mordin, Legion and Tali(especially Tali) again. Also wanna stab Kai Leng again... -_-

Haven't started it yet though...just been playing MP with friends all day today. The ending just...ruined me.

Throughout the whole game I was thinking about how different it would be if I had made different choices, saved different people, what would have happened if that character wasn't there. I was looking forward to a (hopefully) very different story the second time around. Then the ending-button machine showed up and I really can't bring myself to play through it again, even to see how Kaidan acts vs Ashley.

It kills me that two shepards that act so completely different over the course of the previous two games will be doomed to the exact same ending(s). No glorious victory with all the races united together or a (potentially) grimdark human-dominated galaxy, no choice between saving the normandy and my friends or saving earth itself, just various colors of the destruction of the very civilization I was trying to save.

I have to say, I never would have expected such a small amount (time wise) of bad in the third game would be able to sour me on the entire trilogy so utterly.

Thanks to the ending, I don't want to touch the game after my first playthrough.

I'm slooooowly getting through it on insanity. Only because the endings raped the replay value.

Yup. Started, Anderson picked me up, then quit. What's the point, knowing how it all ends?

There is no point, Bioware destroyed Mass Effect, and I don't mean that figuratively, everything we loved and recognized about the series is gone, there is no point, ever, of all time.

I started playing a NG+. I got Ashley into the hospital after Mars and started picking up the fetch quests. Then I thought to myself that all these people are dead anyway, what is the point? So, yeah ... done here.

It takes something really special to ruin the replay value of three games at the same time. 7-8 hundred hours of playtime all ending with this. First robbed of my vindication, then robbed of my ending. *sigh*

Tried importing a different character, didn't make it to Mars. Knowing there's no other ending possible just make it pointless to replay.

Such a shame, because I really love everything else in ME3. If the endings were different, I would have replayed it right away.

Ditto,  I was ready to restart right from ME1 and play a marathon this weekend..........now, nope.

I went back to Skyrim - I'll probably be there till Witcher enhanced comes out - now there is an outfit that listens to the fans - perfectly good story/ending but the third chapter was a bit rushed so they fixed it - Hear that Bioware - that is how you treat your fans

I want to, but when I think of what's going to happen at the end..I just don't feel like playing anymore, it seems all pointless. I don't even want to go back to ME1 and ME2.

Okay, can someone please tell me how it's been confirmed that there is no NG+ added ending stuff?

Also, I don't understand how they're going to add DLC when Shepard is dead. Like we're going to start the whole game over just to play DLC that we had to pay for.

Honestly, as wonderful as all of their games have been, somebody needs to man up and fix this ending. I think everyone agrees on that.

Here is the answer to your first question:

As for your 2nd question, I don't know. Bioware wanted the game to be played for a long time so that people would spend money in micro transactions. Now with bad endings, players will turn away (I won't play MP for long now) and the game will fade away. To prevent this, they could pull a stunt of releasing an alternate ending DLC. To me, it would be like spitting on our Shepards' graves.

The last two games in the series, as well as both Dragon Age games and SWTOR, I have restarted the games with a new character the moment the credits ended. even at 3 in the morning, having to get up for work in 4 hours.  I loved them all, and I felt they were all done wonderfully. (Yes, even DA2, which I know half of you hate. I loved it.)

I may never play ME3 again. I'm that pissed off.

Same here, always jumped right in before.

Not only will I never play ME3 again, but I can't bear to pick up 1 or 2 either!

I did play it a second time and it was beyond painful because I started to notice more things that did not make any sense to me, amplification of certain character assassinations, and the realization that I must like destructive behavior. At this point, I'd rather mutilate myself than play this a 3rd time.

I have not turned my Xbox on sense... I would love the play again... I absolutely love the game up until the last 15 minutes. They until the end was amazing... it had that "You going to Earn Your Happy Ending" feel going... to which I said "Challenge Accepted"

Those endings are such a tone shift 180 that is almost gave me whiplash

Haven't even bothered. I need a break from all the issues, bugs, inconsistencies and ruining of characters.
