Well, I've managed to install and play the game with very few glitches, but the UI has some rather consistent ones that sort of bug me. Has anyone else been having these?

1) Totally minor, but during combat, the button for Shepard (female vanguard)'s Shockwave power is red (disabled) most of the time, even when it should be blue (enabled). In this state, there is no text under the description explaining why it is disabled ("Target protected by shields", etc.). The power still works when the button is clicked or the hotkey is pressed, and it still does damage against enemies is should be effective against, but it's kind of annoying to not be able to see at a glance whether or not it will be effective.

2) This one is more serious. In the conversation wheel, when there is a Renegade/Paragon dialogue option to be used, both the blue and red options are greyed out, but either can be selected, regardless of Reputation. I have almost 60% Renegade and <5% Paragon, so one or both of them SHOULD be disabled, and using them without knowing whether I should be able to feels like cheating.

Just wondering if anyone else had had these issues, or if my computer and I are the source. Thanks.

P.S.: Idea - Perhaps we should make a sticky thread with all the known glitches, so that when God BioWare decides to make a patch, they know where we stand.

Well it seems they're not greyed out, but slightly more white and seem, as you said, independent from your actual reputation (which, to be honest, I'm not sure what it does). I'm not even sure they work as they should (i.e. like the other games), or if some choices play the same no matter what response you go for. Maybe it's a case where you can choose that reply, but there's a check to see if you have enough Paragon/Renegade to back it up...

I really don't know why they changed the system from the other games...

To me, they seem grey with red or blue drop shadow, until you hover over and they turn solid red/blue.
