I have read that if you get your galactic readiness up in MP. Overtime the percentage goes down? Is this true? I can't exactly afford to buy gold atm and need to use the trial that came with the game. So if I get my galactic readiness to 100% in 2 days. Will it still go down over time even when I am back at silver membership? Or would it stay at the same percentage once I am back down to silver?

Or do I just not connect to the internet in order to keep it at 100%? Or is this a false rumor?

It goes down by about 2-3% per day regardless of if you're playing or not. It also wont go below 50%.

If you're only playing multiplayer to boost your campaign though, it's worth noting that it is entirely possible to get the best ending without doing anything except singleplayer.

It goes down by 2% for me every day, and I always bounce it back to 100%.

This makes absolutely no sense. I hope BioWare will fix it.

It is not to be 'fixed'. They want you to play MP because of the microtransactions.

Your galactic readiness going down gradually isn't something that'll be "fixed." Besides, with you being able to get the best endings without improving galactic readiness at all, it's not a big deal if it drop 2% or even 10% or 20%. Just play a couple multiplayer matches or just make sure you have a decent number of war assets in single player.

Actually I found it that it doesn't decrease over time as long as your console is not connected to the internet. It has been 2 days now since I played MP and my readiness was still at 100%. It only went down to 93% when I had to connect my console to the internet in order to get my Chakram launcher and Reckoner Knight armor. Only have a little over 11 hundred war assets and the bar is already maxed XD.

Edit: Now it could also be due to the fact that my consoles timer resets whenever I turn it off. Which is why it still has 2005 no matter how many times I change it. In order for it to be the right time it needs to be connected to the internet. Could be due to the fact that I own a Pro and not an Elite. Either way win win :P. I may not always get the N7 corps since I won't always hook up to the internet but nonetheless.

I think your Galactic Readiness will not decrease if your console is not connected because I believe your Galactic Readiness rating is saved server-side at EA; therefore your console cannot correctly update your Galactic Readiness if it is not able to communicate with 'EA'.

^_^. It even stays at 93% when I start a new game with a new character.

More reason to believe that your Galactic Readiness is tied to your account instead of to a specific singleplayer game.

Just make a ton of awful decisions, and I'm guessing it shouldn't be too hard.  And don't scan planets for extra war assets.
And yes, somebody would want the worst ending, I'll be going for it eventually.  I have a character that killed everyone possible in Mass Effect (Chorban, Wrex, Shiala, doesn't matter: they all died) and got almost everyone killed on the Suicide Mission (only Morinth and Kasumi made it out alive).  I'll be making sure he goes out in the right fashion for ME3 by screwing myself out of War Assets, and if needed, letting Galactic Readiness drop or something.

Make sure to promote a couple of characters, they're 75 Asset points each, so even if you play another single player game next year, they'll be worth 37.5 Effective Readiness a piece.

Curse ye microtransactions! Ye be the bane of my singleplayer existence! Like seriously next time, I think multiplayer should NEVER affect your single player experience, primarily because I can't even get xbox gold in my basement. I literally had to scour all my games for free xbox live coupons(two day coupons) just to try and get this damned galactic readiness rating up before the ending. That's how I get xbox live. Through 2 day vouchers.
