Arcane warrior build? If they can solo the whole game on nightmare , what happens if you make a party with 3 of them? lol

The enemy will have to go through all 3 of their asses before they go to you , so I don't see how being an invincible character is useless in a party situation
Anyway I see no way that an arcane warrior could have the invincible vibe before getting at least shimmering shield
AFTER I get shimmering shield THEN I might try running around solo , but doing that before then seems like it would be a giant potion chugging fest

I notice that its like it says , it helps on heavily armored enemies and you just said you tested on Loghain who is a heavily armored opponent
When I tested it on non armored enemies I noticed no real difference actually

I suppose Arcane Failure in NwN prevents this "exploitation" =D

I'm still seriously dissapointed that I went 2 points into the lightning branch
They need to let characters respend all stat skill and talent points somehow , even if its a 1 time per save thing or something
I used 3/4 tome of arcane techniques already too (Bodahn restocks one last tome in the castle before the end of the game)
I'm looking at this roughly :
13.Spell shield
14.Shimmering shield
15.Group heal
16.Fade shroud
17.Revival
18.Lifeward
19.Cleansing aura
**** an A............
Then I still need Miasma (3 points) (Lvl 22)
Rock armor (1 point) (23)
By then it would basically be the end of the game AND I'd have absolutley no glyph spells either
Glyph of warding (2 points) (25)
Though after some quests they give you a talent point (After redcliffe castle , and maybe some others)
This explains to you all why wasting a mere 2 points on lightning crap has upset me D:
With those 2 points I could have gotten flaming weapons instead which would you know... ACTUALLY be useful? I guess I'm stuck with frost weapons forever.... (I hear the fire one does up to +10 dmg a hit D: )
Edit :
Final tome of arcane technique = Fire blast
Redcliffe free point = Flaming weapons
Of course I'm not nessicarily doing this stuff in this order but that is the stuff I hope to finish having by the time this characters done
Go get the Raven Mod and just respec your character. It's not cheating since the way characters are setup to begin with is bascially horrible anyway. I cannot imagine playing Morrigan with those points in shapeshifting..good loord!

WTF!
What level does it do that at?
Maybe I should just get THAT sooner than later
Dude, calm down. You'll be über soon enough, there's no need to run head-first at every "this spell is good too." Then again, why not? Knock yourself out.

In my experience, Miasma should never wait that long. You should have gotten it long before you got the Spirit Healer spells. The penalties it applies to an enemy's attack and defense effectively count as bonuses to the same for you, and it's all based on your magic stat. If you don't have Miasma before Shimmering Shield, it should be the very next spell you learn.
