I would like to start by saying, this is the best story telling experience of any game I've ever played and as much as I love bioware's other games the mass effect overarching story has been the best, not because of reaper threats but because of the attachments I've developed with most of the characters, I even had a pang of guilt when I learned, through an overheard conversation that I could have saved a former acquaintances life but gave bad advice.

I mention that because there were parts that took me out of the game.  Mainly parts dealing with scratching the surface of the books history, mainly parts dealing with deception.  I really disliked that book along with a number of plot development and character issues.  even though the game touches on nothing major from deception, Kai Leng's mere presence ruined it because all I could think about was how corny the book was.

This bugs me because if I had never read deception my entire experience would have been near flawless, anyone else had a similar experience with this game or another franchise?

Also another thing that kept creeping up in my mind was, a side story involving Gillian Grayson and Kai Leng would have been awesome, and would have set up videos on the Cerberus base nicely.

Also another unusual and unique event I've experienced in this game was I was getting a little frustrated with the relationship tali and another squad mate developed.  Did a game cause me to feel jealousy?  Just wanted to end on a positive about how awesome the game is.
