Both - The One Of Many spirit eater and The Zecorian ilithid were harder to beat than Zehir himself in this game! Don't know how do you feel about it, but that is my personal experience after finishing this game twice now. Even with my 4 heroes at epic levels i first found it hard to beat the spirit eater. But later i found out what works best against him. To even the odds, i chose a single epic level hero, best suited to combat him:

Before I clicked on your tube, my first thought was "Favored Soul Stormlord," I see I wasn't far off. You may not have noticed that OOM doesn't like electricity. A lot.

Protection from fear, and several party members casting magic-damage spells (like Isaac's missile storms, greater and lesser) can also make short work of One of Many.
