I beat ME3 and saw the endings and they rubbed me wrong. but then i got to thinking Dragon Age 2 , Dragon Age origins, Kotor , and Kotor 2. Has Bioware ever made a game thats ending didn't suck or was great until the sequel pretty much overwrote the last games ending? I mean if you really think about it Bioware can make great games but their endings have always sucked.
A question to ME3 fans about problems with the endings

ME1 and ME2 had good endings, though they were invalidated with ME3.
Also, Bioware had no part in KOTOR2.

Hell even Jade Empire had great endings and many people seem to dislike that game (though personally I loved it).

KOTOR 2 was made by Obsidian I believe. In that game I think they were going for an "Empire Strikes Back" sort of ending. But that got ruined because of time and budget constraints, with whole scenes cut and missing dialoge.

I liked my DAO ending, though DA2's ruined it a fair bit.

The main problem is not that the endings are BAD. the problem is that the ending of the endings are bad. You do not feel satisfied after completion.

ME1,ME2,DA:O,Some of SWTOR class endings. Even KOTOR was good since it was a happy ending.

DA:O was fine. DA2 was crap.
ME1 and ME2 are great as well.

Exactly, I was expecting an ending like Baldur's Gate 2 had... where what I choose realy mattered and left me satisfied.
So let's hope Bioware will never end the Dragon Age story line.... because if Dragon Age 3 has a worse ending than Dragon Age 2...

Baldur's Gate ending was fitting. Not an "OMGTHISISSOAWESOME" kind of ending, but a fitting, good ending to a wonderful journey.
DA:O had great endings. You actually had information on how things went due to your choices. And the sad endings were fitting. It was bittersweet, contrary to ME3 which was just bitter.
DA2... can't argue there.

At least with DA:O the ending was fitting and the epilogue reflected on your actions.

Simple: It was not as powerful/conclusive as the rest of the game. Heck, even DA2 left me more setisfied... but then, DA2 was overall weaker then ME3.

I don't understand how they did it, but they managed to write the bulk of the game as Grade A material, but managed to fill the last ten minutes of story with more plotholes than the rest of the game combined.

In a way it's... impressive.
