That stargazer chap hints that theres more stories out there for shep. Could it b they go the fallout 3 route to continue on. Sure the relays are destroyed but that doesnt mean they cant be rebuilt. Right now my fading hope for the franchise ive devoted over 200 hours of my life too is that there will be more in a dlc. Regardless of ending shep wakes up in a hospital on earth and has a new mission. Reunite the galaxy thats been cut off through the demise of the relays.

Either that or a dls that replaces the endings. either good. I want my closure for all the toons ive grown attached to. I want to see the home tali and paragon shep make together on her homeworld, i wanna see the little blue babies renegade shep and liara have. I wanna see what happens after for all my team. Does anderson ever hook up with the chick from grissom? Do Joker and Edi work out in the long run? What happens with Jack and her gang? What does Garrus do once the big bad is put to rest? I WANNA SEE JACOBS BABY! I wanna share that bottle with the doctor (can never spell her name). What becomes of the new spectre Ashley/Kaiden? Wrex and Grunt hell the whole krogan race... i put so much work into the Krogan by far the best story of all the races (possibly tied with quarian/geth) and its not only been left in limbo but not so much as hinted at in the 'ending'

You cant provide us with one of the best story driven games ever made and throw it all away at the end with some deus ex style ending twist.

Not saying this is THE answer, but many people just take that as the game's way of circling back around to allow you to keep playing your file from pre-Cerberus base position. That is, the whole thing ended just as poorly as you think it did.

Hence the vitriol.
