No, the real bummer was having to choose **** slap A, B, or C and knowing you paid ~$50 for the experience.

How, based on the endings presented, do they matter?
You get to choose between Genocide, rewriting organic life or becoming the reapers. That will matter in the future. Stop being dense.
And those choices all suck. MY Shpeard says "eff you and your God Complex, little VI kid. This is our Galaxy now. get the hell out!"

What about the "colors?" It is very important for space magic.
Yep, in the end the only desision that matters is your favorite color, red <3, blue
...Seriously Bioware, FIX THIS before you release any other DLC, or I assure you that sales wil be quite low.

I swear, its like no one learns lessons from watching crappy adam sandler movies.
This line of thinking is not logically sound when the journey you are on is about achieving a specific goal, (saving galactic civilization), and the conclusion of the journey causes the exact opposite outcome.

Blue or green or red? SUCH GREAT CHOICES BRO!
You can simplify anything. I don't see your point.
DESTROY COLLECTER BASE OR DONT SUCH A HARD CHOICE

Either side of this choice is not out of character for Shep, nor does it END GALACTIC CIVILIZATION, the opposite of Shep's stated goal.

Because you always get your army, and you always can destroy the reapers. Yupp. None of them matter.
I wish I could wipe out races through my decisions, but I can only do so with the Krogans, that is a bit poor. Sad, sad.
And the quarians, and the geth, and the rachni.

Incorrect again, you seem to be good at that.
The goal was to save galactic civilzation. Defeating the Reapers was the means to doing so. Defeating them at the cost of galactic civilization is therefore illogcial.

Sounds like my Shepard succeeded just fine, doesn't mean there weren't costs but I went into this to stop the Reapers at any cost and would have done it if the kid was like "You can let the Reapers go, or all the races that have reached galactic level of the current cycle will be killed along with them."

Are you really that dense?
The point he is making is that without the relays, GALACTIC CIVILIZATION IS OVER.
Large portions of the other races of the galaxy have been destroyed, and another large portion of thier numbers are now trapped on Earth, which, due to the Reapers is in no condition to support its own remaining population, not to mention the millions of other beings now stuck there unable to return home due to the destruction of the relays.
In all three endings, the main thing Shepard was trying to save, the current galactic civilization, is destroyed.
Not to mention, that Shep is now either dead, or permanently seperated from those he cares about.
Yea.... Great Ending

Geth \\ quarian problem - no
ME1 outcome - no
State of the collector base - no
Genophage - no
All this and more had no meaning whatsoever in the end.
When the rachni queen asked me will i doom her species to be forgotten forever i might just said - get lost creepy insect lady noone will care in the end.
And screw you Wrex and all your "cant have babies" whining - be a man, this won't matter either. So get over urself and just die like the rest of the galaxy the very moment Relays' explode.

Collector base has a decent impact on what level of War Assets is required to achieve certain endings, but the Endings are so horrible I doubt anyone noticed.

I'm sorry but i never noticed any of the impact you are telling me now. I didn't even know that this is actually an impact point. Where did you learned that from? pretty sure this was not stated INGAME. If this was pointed out in any kind of a guide - it just does not exist for me without a proper ingame explanation.Citizen Q wrote...

..... I liked the ending and I have played Mass Effect 1 and 2 several times. I know it is easier to rage against something when your narrative says that your opinion is the only valid legitimate view point, but if people are fine with the way it ended, or if they actually liked how it ended, then that is their own opinion and should be respected as such instead of calling them sheep or other such names. Conversely, you have every right to not like the ending of the game and think that none of your descions mattered, and people have every right to disagree with you.
It's cool that you liked the ending. I'm not asking for them to remove the ending you like. I'm just asking for ANOTHER OPTION. Are you so selfish that you only want the option YOU liked to be in game?

No ingame expl. except dialogue ingame which states that keeping it has helped Cerberus & TIM understand indoctrination better. It lowers the required Asset levels to attain certain aspects of the ending, like controling the reapers.
