This should be relatively spoiler free, but I wanted to inform everyone just how my save files got corrupted in hopes others won't have the same problem.

In Orzammar there is a sidequest involving Figor; without discussing the actual story, when I first played through I skipped over the sidequest, (neglecting to follow them into the shop) and when I came back later Figor was gone so I assumed that I missed out on the sidequest, but when I re-entered his building he appeared and I was able to shop with him without doing the sidequest.  When I tried to reload after saving, however, all the save files from the time where I should have first triggered the sidequest (more of an occurance, really) to when I saved after shopping with Figor were corrupted.  I have since deleted them, done the sidequest when it first became available, and seem to be corruption free.  I am a few hours into gameplay after the event, too.

Could have this bug been the culprit of my corruption?  Just a thought.
