I want to say that while I felt the start was kind of... slow? Until you gained full control of the Normandy, from that point to the final mission, I LOVED the game.

Seriously, has any game ever made you feel so close to your squadmates? Everything from Thanes death, to Liaras info thing into the future and when you shoot bottles with Garrus is among the best things I've ever seen emotionally in a video game (I'll freely admit that I am a guy and I cried when Thane died). And we will probably not see something like it in video gaming for many years.

The journey in this game is the best in videogaming to date. While some games might have better overall plotpoints, there is no game that does what Bioware does when it comes to other characters and your connections to them. Once again, I loved the journey in this game. Fantastic.

That is why the ending doesn't make sense. In all the games, we've been able to influence our followers and Bioware has always encouraged to do so with all the good rewards. But this ending goes against everything Bioware has ever encouraged us to do in the earlier games. We've always been encouraged to involve ourselves, because we can influence what happens afterwards and get rewarded for it. When can help (or "unhelp") someone and see the results later, and that's great!

But this ending just leaves everything as a blank. Again, while the journey was awesome, the ending still had a part of me thinking "why did I ever bother?" I know this is the end to Shepards story, but just a short story of what would happen (think Knights of the Old Republic 2 Kreia style in the end or something) would have been MUCH more satisfying (or at least be given the choice to get it!).

Bioware, you said you would wrap up all the questions in the final game. And I honestly feel I have more questions now than before. Please address this in a DLC or something. Please make our choices feel worthwile.

TL;DR: I feel the ending goes against everything Bioware has encouraged us to do in this series.
